There seem to be real movie props- I am partial to the Kirk baby lol! Usually spammers post on threads with their crap- this one created the threads upping the chances of getting more clicks. Pretty smart.

On the other hand, this might be okay according to someone else- seems to be a gray area. I guess we will know if the thread stays up.

I laughed out loud when I envisioned another Engineer ripping David's head off and the pathogen spurting out!

...But, replacing his blood with the pathogen is intriguing but seems like kind of a bad move because... if he did get decapitated or otherwise catastrophically injured again, everyone around him would die and there wouldn't be anyone around for him to charm into repairing him.

...Then he'd just be a head...laying around on a planet...angstily quoting poetry...for who knows how long.

(If somebody decides to run with the David-replaces-his-blood-with-the-pathogen story line, that's definitely how it should end up! XD )

I really like the Mother is sentient idea. I think this is sort of implied in the novel, when she banters with Walter while all the humans are in hypersleep. She would make a worthy opponent for David. :)

The keeping Shaw alive while he experiments on her is interesting, and because he was afraid of losing her.

This means at some point she would have indeed Technically not have been Dead ;)

I intend to purchase these... when finances get better... maybe i need to stop my hobby of drinking Beer lol... and should stick to Brewing more Batches to save some cash lol

I still have not read the Novel yet so i cant comment on Word for Word what it says... from what i have heard David informs Oram when he points out the Xenomorph Egg with Dead Face Hugger that it was not his doing and he found it as it was.

So yes very ambiguous for sure if we take the Route David did not create it, then we have to ask where David came across this Egg...  Surely the Engineers never had one on Paradise?

Unless Paradise was a Sacrificial Set up place not to use those beings for Sacrificial Seeding (Prometheus opening Scene) but maybe they was used to Gestate Xenomorphs... this is something Star Beast touched upon and HR Gigers Mural too.

But then we have to ask if this place was used for this purpose, why has David only found the One Egg (i assume) surely there would be others or the remains of such.

So another option would be if David found the Egg on LV-223 before he departed and after he put Shaw in Cryo-sleep or indeed after that he went to LV-426 and obtained a Egg.

But then we have to wonder why David had experimented on all those Life Forms to Hybrid Something, i can see him experimenting with the Black Goo to create various Organisms.

But it seemed like he was hand picking certain traits of certain Organisms and combining them over and over until he created those EGGS.

If he had found a Egg, then it defeats that purpose as surely he could Engineer from this Egg.

So indeed what Michelle has said is a good explanation that David was using this to Lure Oram into a False sense of Security well he may had been lying about finding the Egg.

Until we actually see the Screen-Play or we see any of Logan/Harpers Drafts then who knows what elements Alan-Dean had added in this regards.

I think Ultimately we have to go with the Movies as Direct Canon, but i think its all been done again in a ambiguous way so RS can indeed U-Turn and have it that David was Re-Engineering those Eggs.

Oh wow, this is considered spam? Are these not real props from the movie? Or is it because of a rule against any sort of selling or something? ...I have to be honest with you, I'm seriously considering buying one.

Just when I said I was hoping for a behind the scenes documentary close to what Prometheus gave us, it is confirmed that it doesn't exist... That's okay though! I won't get the Target version, I have enough Art and Making of stuff. 

Is there any information on the Amazon 4k edition? It has Blu-ray, 4K, and the DVD, but there is no information on the page about what special features are on it (if any). I don't need 4k yet, but sometimes it is good to have it before 4k TVs and disc players take over

Bugger... again i have to choose between the coolest Box, the most extras in the Package and the Most Extras on the DVD/Blu-ray

Not really sure for me AC is worth the extra investment so i will go for the Media which has the most extras... then few years latter maybe pick the other ones up cheaper.

Then again Collectors boxes can go up in value.. darn it lol

Yes, David is both very charming and very evil! Is Lucifer the same person as Satan? This is really making me want to read Milton and learn more about this stuff, because I sense a lot of really interesting archetypes are being used and they're flying over my head.

You know, actually I don't think David was kissing up to Weyland, at least not intentionally. Weyland just included enough of his own personality in David's design that a lot of his own values were heavily reflected. He was made in Weyland's image, you might say. As much as David would probably resent it, he probably takes after his father, the industrialist a great deal.

Interesting image but i never know what to make of these things, until we set down with a Human Crew Mission we will never be 100% sure but then would they tell us the truth anyway ;)

I do think a lot of images do suggest signs of previous Water and Vegetation though but i am no 100% sure on what are called actual proof of Alien Organisms and also Ancient Pyramids... they could just be eyes playing tricks on a image that from another angle and light could look totally different

The Face on Mars is a great example of this.

Just finally got around to reading this, OMG, I love it. Very disturbing stuff. If I'd known it was going to be so disturbing I would have waited to read it until right before bed instead of in the middle of the day (because I usually like to try to catch nightmares). Have you written other fan fics?

I have the Anthology and Prometheus. I'm not rebuying all that again just for a tin box. Sell me the box and I will put my blu rays in it. Next it will be a 7 disc set with an Engineer flute replica.

I didn't see any of the trailers until after watching the film for the first time and I'm kind of glad because the trailers really did reveal a lot.

Haha @dk, it's an expensive habit! This article, ‘Alien: Covenant’ Steelbook Revealed; 4K Blu-ray Pre-Orders Rising , gives a few details about some of the offerings. Well, one, the Steel-box set (blu-ray) that has the movie and another disc (unkown if it is DVD version or special features). The other is that repackaging of the whole series so far.

 The cover for the steelbox is amazing and if entire series cover in the article is the real one, then it is kind of cool too! It kind of shows how oddball Prometheus is compared to the Alien franchise though (consdiering it isn't an Alien/gore fest) because they put the Deacon on there haha!

But yeah, I smell a Director's cut for this one. Even though I am pretty sure that Ridley is happy with the way it turned out. He doesn't necessarily like doing them either (I think.) I can imagine it being released slightly before or after the Covenant sequel to hype that theatrical release up and maybe win back some of the detractors at the same time. Then again, it will probably be included in one of those anniversary editions like you said, dk.
