One of the potential outcomes for the Offspring's final form would have seen the creature transform from Humanoid Engineer to Xenomorph, with a Xenomorph skull bursting from behind the eyes of the Offspring's adolescent form. The beginning stage of this transformation would have seen the Offspring as it was portrayed in the film, looking Humanoid and Engineer-like.
