Another week, another Alien short. This week's short Alien: Ore follows are a team of platinum ore miners on the commercial mining colony Bowens Landing. Written and directed by Kailey and Sam Spear, and starring Mikela Jay, Tara Pratt, Dalj Brar, Steven Siller, Ambrose Gardener, Theresa Wong, Alexandra Quipse, Julie Boersema, Bola Omodara, Calder Stewart, and Christian Lagasse, Alien: Ore feels reminiscent of the working class, blue-collar aesthetic seen in Alien and Aliens.
Next Friday will be Alien Day. The fandom is already prepared to celebrate 40 years of the Alien franchise, but will Twentieth Century Fox have a surprise in store for Alien Fans - only time will tell.
