Alien: Covenant poster gifted to the film's Creature Crew sports an iconic Facehugger!

Each department working on Alien: Covenant seems to be receiving some pretty sweet thank-you gifts from their department heads and Fox! One of the more recent to be shared is this Alien: Covenant poster, which was gifted to those working on the film's new Aliens - the "Creature Crew". The poster itself is quite magnificent, featuring an iconic Facehugger, along with various sketches outlining the organism's inner workings.

According to Ridley Scott, Alien: Covenant will be "re-introducing" the Facehugger, Chestburster and Xenomorph in a horrifying new way - one Scott teases will outdo the 1979 original Chestburster scene!

We're very excited to see what comes next. Fans all over the world are currently discussing the marketing and production for Alien: Covenant at length in our forums. If you're a hard core Alien fanatic, be sure to join in! This journey is just getting started.

The Alien: Romulus sequel is currently in development and cameras are set to roll by October, 2025! Be sure to bookmark the Alien: Romulus 2 Info Page for an up-to-date account of all available information, production updates and important details!

In addition to the upcoming Alien: Romulus sequel, we have the Alien: Earth TV series from Noah Hawley now streaming and a rumoured Alien vs. Predator reboot in the works as well!

That is pretty sweet. They r really using these small things to market the film.

Great poster concept! But I feel they made the facehugger too spindly and thin! :(

After all these years I still think that the facehugger looks nasty.

Interesting and i think its more than coincidence and so we would be seeing something very similar to the Original Face Huger.

If that design is accurate, I applaud the reduction of the bulbs. Hopefully they'll have a more flaccid, scrotal presence than before.

Inasmuch as well known elements are being reprised here, it's exciting to anticipate how modern effects and Ridley will depict them. If nothing else, this will be MORB biology as never before seen.

^ Absolutely. I'm really quite excited to see how the biology is portrayed now, with the level of visual effects work able to be done. Although I re hope they keep with the practical effects, it just makes things so much scarier - knowing it's actually there. Not to men it looks more real.

The slenderness of the Facehugger makes it more spider-like and so, slightly creepier than the bulkier design of before.

Wonderful, I love how each of the crews are being presented with iconic gifts!

It has the feel of an etched illustration from an ancient manuscript, perhaps MORBS ANATOMY

I wonder who the designer was?
