Nostalgic film enthusiasts will be pleased to know that Alien: Romulus writer and director Fede Álvarez at BeyondFest just recently announced that a limited-edition VHS tape of Alien: Romulus will release on December 3rd, 2024. The retro-style format sports box artwork by Matt Ferguson. Check it out:

Awesome that they went all in with an actual VHS tape (lovely box art btw) rather than a VHS-style Blu-ray box. Now all you need is a CRT TV for the full experience!

Hopefully the grainy image and lower resolution will somewhat decrease the weird deepfake facial effect on a certain android.
