You would have thought Noah Hawley would have been keen to share ideas with Alien: Romulus director Fede Alvarez during the time Alien: Earth was in production – but apparently not. During a recent interview with Heroes Forged Podcast, Predator: Badlands director Dan Trachtenberg recalled receiving a call from Noah Hawley after the first teaser trailer for Badlands came out and how Noah was interested in sharing ideas about their incorporation of Alien into Predator. But, when Fede Alvarez tried reaching out to Noah for the same reasons, nobody answered his calls...

Noah Howley reached out when he saw our trailer and was like, “You’re doing stuff with Weyland-Yutani, we should be talking” and he sent over some cuts of Alien: Earth at that time. It was only probably a couple of months before it actually came out.
The part where Dan discusses Noah Hawley reaching out is around the 51-minute mark:
This wouldn't have got our attention if it wasn't for the fact that it now seems intentional that Noah Hawley apparently snubbed Alien: Romulus' director Fede Alvarez when he tried to reach out for similar reasons back when Alien: Earth was in production. During a chat with our friends over on the AvPGalaxy Podcast, Fede recalled reaching out to Noah Hawley to also share ideas the way Noah reached out to Dan, but Fede says nobody returned his calls. While the crew at AvPG assert this did take place much earlier in Alien: Earth's production, it still begs the question why Noah never returned Fede's calls at all, but was eager to reach out to Trachtenberg.

Dan Trachtenberg set Predator: Badlands so far into the future, well past the events of Alien Resurrection and Noah Hawley set Alien: Earth so far in the opposite direction, there really can't be any logical overlap whatsoever. Alien: Romulus is set closer to Alien: Earth's timelime, which could have afforded opportunity for collaboration.
We would have thought an Alien TV series creator and the director of the latest Alien movie would for sure have sat down to collaborate and map out trajectory for the franchise, working together. But it seems like quite the opposite is happening.
Furthermore, Alien: Earth Season 2 was just green-lit and begins filming next year but we've received no word on the state of the Alien: Romulus sequel which was due to start filming last month. Ironically, Romulus 2 or another Alien prequel is what majority of fans seemingly were hoping for before a second season of Earth.
