he was only gay in the val kilmer and clooney films. and the 60's series was certainly camp, but i don't think they were actual gay so much as experimental

leads me to my clue...the only Batman i make reference to is Burtons 89 film....i think its fair to say both Aliens and Batman were powerhouses of the 80s ...no?

ok so...to move this along....both Aliens and Batman (1989) used Acton Power station as sets.....on an aside speaking of Batman..the first 6 minutes are leaked online...looks awsome i must say better than TDK intro
