The Next Trailer

a shadow or tail or even a toe of the creature that will become the xeno..................

Something that reveals a little more about the SJs/engineers to keep us all guessing and get a little closer to the true story.

I want to see that SJ suit moving around.

Personaly I think the next trailer should be end of MArch, be twice the leangth (i.e 2 minutes) show us more SJ action. Maybe a quick glimpse of the "suit" wrapping around the SJ. More detail on the dynamic between characters (whats the deal with Guy Pearce?) and hopefully some Giger/necronomican inspired early Xeno action.

I wonder if we'll get a prologue of the film around easter time. Like what they have just done it for Dark Knight Rises (the first 7 minutes of the film) and AVPR (the first six minutes broadcast on UK freeview channel Film 4) a month before that was released.

I do not want to see any more and feel if anything further is done it should be done in a very low key manner like tiny 15 seconds spots during Prime Spots Like the Superbowl and this years Oscars and it should feature only shots of the derelicts signal with that same score in the other trailer backing it up. I feel it should begin with One very close shot of the egg from the very first Alien Trailer and just dissolve into an Urn or Egg from how they will appear in Prometheus !!!! That for me is ALL they need to do to psych us out right and not give anything else away and still accomplish the same thing they would with any big new trailer and lots of reveals.

I think 1 mint trailer wud be fine and must be under shadow again, wanna see it in IMAX not in trailer ^_^

crackling audio...SJ/Pilot chair still empty from a closer view and the distress voices from the beginning of the teaser trailer...flash of something feminine and Gigeresque...Man in suit jumping and "No!"..."We were so wrong!"...screams, then cut to black ... 6.8.2012. No hiss, slime, tentacles, crab like fingers, no phallus (flaccid or erect) silhouettes, just the same score, and the above sequences.

Why does EVERYONE STILL THINK THERE ARE XENOS IN THE MOVIE!??!

i'm most likely in the minority here, but i hope the next trailer keeps us all guessing i hate it when a film trailer gives away too much being an avid admirer of ALIEN (1979), PROMETHEUS is something i am truly anticipating seeing, so i am hoping there will be some mystery in the next trailer at the same time, the official trailer that was released in Dec, had me going over it with a focused lens, and left me pretty much dying to see more a contradiction on my part i guess.....

The teaser trailer alone is making it easier for me to forget the sequels! =))

I have to agree with Spartakus and Nexux ..... less is best, and yeah, I don't want to see Prometheus in trailers on the tele. Alien is sooo classic, Prometheus may pale after it, but with Scott directing and Giger on board, I think the film will be a blast no matter what... well as long as Hollywood does'nt restrict it too much. BUT!, it's Scott making the prequil ; ) I can't wait!!!!..................... I like the 15 sec, 'egg to urn' idea. Yes, psych us out with as little info as possible! I may cover my eyes if they show too much! Im really looking forward to being slack jawed and wide eyed.

LOL, No I won't look..... I know this... I want to be surprised in the theatre. I will even cover my ears... ha! I've been so excited since early Summer, nothing, no nothing will Make me watch a long informative trailer.... nothing........................ lol ; )

I would like a bit of dialogue in the next trailer...a few desperate screams and disturbing gurgling bone chilling sounds....but hopefully with the same music...perhaps even an extended version of the teaser score. Another poster won't hurt either...tho when it comes to all time favorite movie posters...I can't quite think of anything that will beat the original Alien poster...that mysterious egg...I always desperately wanted to know what was inside...as a kid i could never stop staring at it...i was very pleased when the contents tho!

An 'R' on the end of the next trailer would be good :)

So correct me if I'm wrong..... when Alien came out back in 79, was'nt the trailer on tv just the egg, then it splits with light coming out and the catch phrase... 'in space no one can hear you scream'.....? I don't recall trailers...? So again I hope big ol' Hollywood goes easy with the info.

if their was in fact a trailer with the egg splitting open and a green light coming out...i would love to see it....saw the recent alien trailer set to the score of the new teaser...(loved it...!!! )that egg would have been a nice touch tho!

I think around 3 or 2 months before cinematic release, we might get a 2+ minutes trailer with more image and also dialogs. But i hope that they won't leak too much of the Space Jockeys and the creature that might be the protoform of the Xenomorph/alien. Otherwise the surprise effect will be gone. I rather want to know what exactly is going on in the movie instead of a trailer that leaks too many great moments of the movie.

BTW, i have watched the teaser of ALIEN again, and when the egg splitted open with the light coming through, it has exactly the creepy sound effect like it has been used frequently in the PROMETHEUS teaser trailer (starting with the scene where one crew member's helmet is somewhat having a acid reaction). So not only is the lettering sequence done like in ALIEN and ALIEN3 but also that creepy sound effect has been taken over.
