@Shambhala Great find! The rear section of that craft looks like the familiar derelict ship. Could the derelict be a separate section from this main ship? BTW this is from the same artist as the one who did the pics I posted.

@Engr101 Yes, seems a ship Mothership, and the derelict one of its parts. for a while I thought that the derelict was a landing pod. peroen this fan art seems a warship off the mother ship to perform an infestacion... either for the genesis of life...

@Shambhala Our favorite Jockey could be the Engineer of the craft instructed to drop the infestation but has second thought because maybe he has grown,gulp, a sense of morality?

@Engr101 It may be, may be engineers wise and benign beings with a high sense of morality. most likely, that the greatest source of evil and corruption is weyland.

I dig the idea that the derelict is merely a small chunk of a larger mothership.

Whoa, waitaminute, that picture of an alien ship looks a lot like a PREDATOR drop ship from the first AVP movie.
