Just an observation, and maybe I am the only one seeing it: Ridley Scotts dystopic Macintosh commercial from 1984, where Big Brother (David Graham) is speaking to his audience of proles, bears some kind of visual similarity to Prometheus' ampule room with the giant head and the rows of ampules. mmm yes .... at the beginnig i thought i was not a big deal ...but then ... its interesting ...so the ampules are there to "adore" the head ....and the head is a space jockey maybe and not an human ? ...

I never said it was a big deal :-) There is a similarity in visuals, not (necessarily) in the storyline. It´s the same artist - maybe Ridley likes this kind of cinematic composition. Again, just an observation - not a BIG revelation.

Just grabbing something out of thin air but: whatever is in the ampules, facehugger presumably, what if they are being brainwashed or trained? The giant face could be a tool to teach whatever, the target to attack. Like the Apple commercial, the people are brainwashed. Just grasping for straws, what do you all think?
