My fiance is not a 100% sci-fi fan, but it's good enough. She wants to see this with me for the thriller/horror side of it, as that is her thing. So looking forward to sharing this film with my bride to be!!

I'll be going alone... I love my wife dearly, but she will want to talk through the entire movie. Why do women want to talk when it's completely the wrong time???? As a mere mortal male, I guess I will never understand them! I think they enjoy the sound of their own voice more than any conversation, ya know? LOL Surprisingly, my sister is the only person I can sit through a movie with, because she is a sci-fi geek just like me. We've already picked the films we will see together in 2012: Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Spider-Man, and of course Prometheus. It's gonna be a great summer!

June 8 is my wifes birthday and i told here we aleady have plan on this day Day off work for both of us..., early morning at the movies she goes one way to see a chick flick , i go the other way to enjoy a great sci-fi

@ The High Priest Their is an abundance of threads dealing with speculation and mystery on the derelict ship, space jokey and/or engineer origins...ampule rooms...eggs...and the entire Prometheus plot in general....this is not one of those threads however...it's maybe less formal ....but it's nice fresh and entertaining....(for a change)...u my friend need to chill...or go and engage in your active sexlife!

@ncc1701 True....lol.....u know their is nothing wrong with all the geeky speculation....but it's been done to death....I mean based on what we got from the trailers and interviews...their is no rock left unturned....so it's getting a bit stale....and I mean no offense to anyone out their that starts another one of those often tiring threads....but then why can't we just have a nice casual thread here and their as well.....the discussing was about who u gonna take to see Prometheus with and how u think they might react to the whole experience.....what's so fucking odd about that?

Gonna take the hubby. I have already desensitized him over the last few years with descriptions of my somewhat regular, twisted aliens-chasing-me dreams and endless diatribes over the brilliance of Alien, the unnecessary changes to xeno head features in Aliens, Bambi in A3, what the hell is the white, pasty thing at the end of Res and OMFG WTF was that for the AVP films. He already has me pegged for an incurable fanboy and amazingly enough still doesn't mind being seen with me in public. Ain't love grand.

@Juxtapose Ok dude, my response may have been rather knee jerk and over the top, however you must admit the thread had become pretty hystericaly bland and boring!!
