New Int. Trailer, new scene at the end?

Just watched the new international trailer at http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xopwwk_prometheus-international-teaser-trailer-1-vo-hd_shortfilms#from=embediframe and at the 1:01 mark there is a flash and it looks like a scene from the original alien with the original derelict ship. I could be wrong but at work and havent had time to slow it down and screenshot. Is this a knod that the derelicts will be the same ship from Prometheus to Alien (it was speculated I guess).

Dude - You are absolutely correct - Not seeing things Great find! This has made me think - That ultimately the derelict in Alien IS the one from Prometheus - But check this! The whole "Alien" story is just a big "sub plot" to the epic story of prometheus. A minor link in the massive chain - That is clever! That is succeeding on every level where Lucas failed in the "prequel" arena.

After seeing the official trailer I figured out that the derelict ship at the end of the trailer is the derelict on LV486 from the movie Alien. This is the "...the strand of Alien DNA" that Ridley Scott mentioned in his oft-(mis)quoted interview. I take it that the freeze frame is from Ash's monitor as he's watching Dallas et al approach the derelict?

@i feel safer already. So what does this mean? Are you saying that this is 100% the derelict ship from alien!! This is awesome if it is correct!!! Oh and it does sound exact as far as the same sound from alien!!! I think you have a good set of eyes and ears buddy!!! Good Catch hope you are right!!!

Hey folks new to the site but loving the discussions. Just on the new trailer and the discussion here as right as it all sounds idea wise the planet the derelict crashes on the the trailer looks a lot more habitable then the original lv486 so there had to be an explanation for that.

Unless I am crazy, it appears to be the distorted view of the original derelict from Alien in that quick shot. It looks like it to me, but I am often wrong so I could be seeing things.

Hello I just tried looking at the new trailer and freezing a frame so I could see something there. Managed to catch a frame to see something that could be a hand? or possibly a different ship maybe? Anyone else see the face if you zoom in a little? Looks human. Forehead, both eyes and nose. Then it almost looks like a second face right below. Kind of blue and not human. Anyone else see that?

That hole the "hand" is emerging from? Looks like the acid hole in the Derelict Kane is lowered down to the egg chamber.......... I'm not seeing faces at all though........

I can see a face, in the upper right-hand corner, and seems to me the hand could belong to that face.

Wasn't obvious that the derelict ship in Alien was the same that we see falling after the explosion in the trailer?. The original Alien footage in the international trailer is indeed a great discovery.
