How are they getting off that rock?

Looking at the trailers, it looks like Janek crashes Prometheus into the "alien" ship. If that's the case, how the heck are they getting off that rock? We see two crew members running from the crashing ships (Vickers and Shaw) but how do they get off that planet? Based on how long I am guessing it took Prometheus to get to the planet, we might have a cliffhanger ending or a very unfortunate ending for the survivors? Thoughts?

Vickers escapes in the escape pod before Prometheus crashes into the derelict. I wandering about her whereabouts.

There are three ships. Watch the new TV spot. The Prometheus can be seen about to crash into the bone ship and in the foreground there is another ship: maybe, it's a prometheus miniship?

i doubt that the mini-ship is able to get back to earth ..btw i suppose that they all go to sacrify themselves to save earth and not compromising Alien as a canon ... ( lindelof said that they will try to destroy canon when possible , and i think expecially regarding Alien )

I wouldn't be surprised if the SJ ship which crashes and rolls along the ground, ultimately ends up being flight-capable. When it stops, you can't see so much as a scratch on it.

I think I agree: the alien ship regenerates like a living organism, and they probably end up going back inside it. Maybe it can 'live' and fly as long as it has a living jockey.
