A Creation Story

You just blew my mind Biomechanic. That story would take 4 films to make the viewer understand . I like it! But I have a strong feeling that Prometheus is going to revolve around a "less is more" theory. But like I said, I found your excerpt extremely, extremely fascinating.

Wow, I did not expect this much support. : ) Thank you all.
Ghorgul, Thanks for the support. Kickstarter is very interesting concept. I ran across it before a while back working on some electronic projects. I like very much the idea of open source collaboration. Realistically though I think maybe starting something like this as a graphic novel might be a better first step and if it is well received maybe then get some animators together to produce a short film kind of like Big Buck Bunny that could be entered into some film festivals. If I was really going to do that I think I would use some other ideas I've been kicking around that are similar just to avoid clashing with the Prometheus and Alien universe. It would require talented volunteer artists more than funding though. Ones who share my artistic vision and are very open minded and flexible. Management would be key to this and that is something I don't have much time for so right now.
Something like this might be fun: Do the Evolution
Thanks Spartacus for the camera offer but we might need something built by CERN to actually realize some of the sequences : )

It's an interesting theory... I think that the only reason to create somthing is to be able to use it or have some kind of purpose so what would have been the reasons for our subsequent creation... I feel that the Space Jockey race are trying to create the ultimate lifeform to infuse themselves with to eveolve themselves or different strands of themselves onto other planets or different environments it's a quick way to adapt whilst still have enough similarities to reproduce also perhaps.
But I cannot help but feel that your theory falls over at that etherial being or sentient being created man to experience Earth or the universe... Because I think they would have already had their own physical form and experienced much before going onto create other physical life forms... The story that is told again and again is that GOD WAS ALONE and created others to cure the lonliness... But this would have been others like him / it and then go on to create somthing like Mankind for whatever the purpose was.... Ancient gods are different from modern religeon as we are all told now by and large there is only one god but in ancient times there were many gods for different purposes or to represent possesion of different unique skills...
So that would correlate more to a race that works together to do these experiments for a purpose but it could have been to create the ultimate lifeform and mix themselves with this creature... And then repeat

Ronster, I am suggesting their was absolutely nothing in existence except this consciousness. It is before the big bang. Why can't it be monotheistic? He created what we know as reality from pure inspiration. He then created a body with five senses to be able to experience that world. He created man simply. I drew inspiration from the story of Adam Kadmon He experimented with dinosaurs, and fish and mammals but Man was his best prototype design and he fell in love with it and made a statue of it to remind him of his feat. Then he decided to divide himself to experience himself. He made many copies and divisions for collaboration. He wanted himself in all our bodies except something arose inside us before God could enter. The independent soul that arose in our bodies rejected God's attempt at controlling. He tried many ways to make it work. He tried to tell us to allow God to enter through magic texts, He created religions to make us see it is he that is in control, He threatened us with petulance and plague if we did not submit. Our chaotic soul could not be tamed or fully understood so he felt hopeless. He attempted to destroy our bodies with disease but we learn and adapt and were too smart to be fully eradicated. We have an uncanny ability to survive against all odds. He then goes about his business and ignores us. The things like the religions and the plagues remain with us though. Suddenly when we start traveling vast distances of space and begin to unravel the mysteries that he holds secret (m-theory) through the help of very smart computers and androids we start encroaching on his world. Then we arrive on LV-426 and directly threaten his souls that stored in those ampules. Perhaps we contaminated them with nanotech and they became mutant nanobiomechanoids searching for a body in inhabit. They find humans and recognize the old technology and try to enter. Again they are violently rejected (mowhawk man) He comes to put an end to it, studies humanity more than he wanted and creates a great new plague. But again man adapts and chaos prevails and his own weapon is turned on him and his bio suit and destroys his vessel for experience on that planet.
It's just a thought experiment nothing more.

Biomechanic, this is cool stuff. It reminds me of the Carl Sagan quote: "We are a way for the universe to know itself."
Also, the fibonacci spiral face illustration is fantastic.
