What's the bald headed, bloodied, veins-moving-in-its-head, creature we see at the start of the trailer? (Can't find a search function.)

One thing Ridley has confirmed is that the beginning of the film will take place at the waterfall in Iceland! I think we will see the creation of Earth, and the bald guy is the first human created by the engineers and is being brought to life before our eyes. I doubt he has anything more to do with the film than introduce the idea that humans were created by an alien race. This film is about the search for our beginning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o6GvZcqZI0

I bought the new issue of EMPIRE magazine; awesome holographic cover and great coverage of Prometheus. The cast give their perspective on the movie and Sir Ridley Scott answers all the questions you could ever ask! Definitely worth the cash: http://www.empireonline.com/magazine/

It's been discussed that perhaps the being seen at the waterfall near the start of the trailer was a human being formed by the 'Jocks intervention on early Earth and not a mutating Prometheus crew member (as most of us appear to assume). If so, this would (appear) to put the scene into correct timeline with the rest of the trailer. But is it possible that we are seeing a mutaing 'Jock, who has become contaminated/infected by some terrestrial bug while terraforming Earth? The "King(s)" may have indeed had their reign and all but died out, with those survivors keen to re-establish their race using whatever genetic material they may encounter? Their inital "invitation" may have become a hostile welcome if things turned ugly for them. Perhaps the idea is a little too "War of the Worlds" (the Martian invaders succumbing to simple Earthly microbes) but only time will tell.
