The drop on his finger...

I think this will incorporate several cultural mythos. I also think it will have been represented as the bllod of the Titans. RS has mentioned the Persian influence, but I think there will be various pagan influences in the film.

you shouldnt take the myths [i]too[/i] literally..;) the drop on Davids finger, I remember seeing it beeing red in another trailer, not black? heres a HD shot of it. when you look close you can see literally small structures in it.. the FIRST thing in the new trailer i paused was that still! hopefully there is a member of the forum with super vision skills because im legally blind and WITH my glasses my vision is still pretty fuzzy. i was trying to tell if the white dots were just a reflection of the lights in the room on the shiny dark substance OR if it was actually a part of its structure. i was watching the trailer on a nice large plasma tv and i still couldnt tell. i think i need to use my binoculars as well.

Looks like the lights above reflecting in the drop........the little spots of light also follow the curve of the droplet. Im a photographer.....i know these things lol Mind you i just had a closer look......and yes i see what you mean now.....there ARE duller shapes under the curve of reflected lights. Bearing that in mind it could just be less bright areas of the room reflected in the droplet. I actually think this scene is to draw attention to the W on his fingertip.....the droplet is just incidentle.....perhaps!

@belladonna, sorry, I didnt point out, of course the row of white points are reflected light from the room David is in.. I was pointing out the structures beneath it..looks like geometric structures.. heres the HD foto full size: [img]http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/bo06prow/df.png[/img] @Mark Cawley I´m a grafic designer, so my eyes tell me the angle would be very strange if these darker structures were a room reflection, too..dont u think? It looks like if David ( we actually share Davids view ) is sitting directly in front of his finger, so that would not be likely IMO.. cheers

nice mark! at first i thought it was a part of the "dot", but when i paused it and zoomed in i thought it looked like a reflection because of the angle of the white spots/lights but my vision isnt sharp enough to get a good enough look. it did remind me of the light reflection lessons i had in art class but it is such a quick shot it was hard for me to see. plus that dot of "goo" is so dang small i didnt see any decent ambient glow coming off the lights it is reflecting.

LOL thanks too kane. it was very hard to make an analysis on that picture through a paused frame with my bat-like eyesight. now that i zoomed in, i can see some other spots in the blob but of course i cant see em well. i may just be a pervert but i see a female torso with boobs in the clutter of shapes. i am not using my computer so ill have to see if there is a photo program on here i can take the pic and outline the weird shape i see.

I watched the trailer once more and I´m pretty sure these structures are in fact [i]moving[/i].
