It's not a face hugger

To me this creature might be taken Out by surgery instead of bursting Out by itself. The question is, When it is taken out and Shaw is walking in pain in that hallway, what tall And musculous reddish creature is standing around the corner?

This is the the main question for me. Why is this creature NOT the xenomorph we know from alien/aliens and how do we get from this creature to the alien we know? And why do ancient cultures know about the planet all this goes down on? We see a lot in the trailers but we still don't know jack.

Aw SNAP good eyes littlejoe! Honestly, I'm more interested in this movie because I always wanted to know who the Space Jockeys were and what relation they had to the Alien. I'm sure I'll have that question answered, and probably some new ones too! :-P

That...thing (squid) is pretty big. If that was inside Shaw wouldn't she have a huge belly as if she were pregnant? Have we seen images of a pregnant Shaw? ( I know the umbilical cord and stomach stitches are good proof, but I'm just wondering if we've seen her pregnant in any trailers or leaked images.) By the way, nice avatar Cypher!

is that supposed to be blood on her? looks like a dark grey to me. maybe they should have gone with another color lol, it looks a bit like someone had to much taco bell and had an accident.

The International trailer clearly shows that it's blood - for some reason the colour was changed for American audiences.

as i said in another thread...i suspect they are pulling their punches and let this thing come out of her bellybutton....a bit safe and sound :/

That is very weird indeed. Given the hype around the film I think it's safe to say that we'll see different cuts. I hope that we'll get something as close to a unrated-cut as possible here in Europe.

LOL guys we all know blood is actually blue (unoxygenated) it dries black and in the process of drying turns brown first. So if ya like dried crusty blood on ya then yeah it looks like sh*t. So where do you figure its censorship?

what the heck is wrong with your blood!? mine is red, if i get it on anything ( cloth, tissues)it dries brown, not black. And the liquid on her does not look dried to me, looks fresh and wet. blood should not be dried up while she is having this thing removed from her body, i think its safe to assume she would have just been bleeding, if not still bleeding......its all over the inside of the tube she was in. plus it looks grey to me, not black. if your blood is that color i suggest you need to go to your doctor right away, or get off our planet because you arent human lol. i dont see black or grey blood all over kane in my avatar, do you? like "unlimited" just said, someone JUST posted that the blood is red in another trailer. id try to reed more closely before you start smarting people off with a "higher then though" attitude.

because its just blue on the inside of your body... i think that has already been said. once my blood is on my skin its red, not grey..... not black.... i think i know a thing or 2 about blood. my mother became a nurse when i was a child and she worked in a shot clinic for a very long time giving shots and drawing blood, ya learn a thing or 2 from family members talking about their job. im not going to bother feeding the trolls any further, its already been stated that the blood on her body and in the pod was altered in the american version. if you cant wrap your heads around that then i dont know what else to tell ya because i cant dumb it down any more. i am absolutely amazed that making a poop joke made a couple weirdos obsess about the color of blood, the popoo comment was supposed to be the focus, people. geez who doesnt enjoy a bit of toilet humor!? apparently not ^ those guys. you have ruined a perfectly good taco bell joke -___-

Troll... I'm staff. With the absence of Oxygen blood appears blue, drying black. When saturated with oxygen (oxygenated or an open wound) the blood appears red, drying brown! Common knowledge, high-school grade biology!

Atropa, Did you not read what I posted or just key in on a single word? I really hope you saw the "(unoxygenated)" behind the blue in what I said. Unoxygenated blood is blue. LOL, Why do you think people turn BLUE when they can't breath, ie lack of oxygen. Blood outside the body is obviously unoxygenated so there is no oxygen for it to process, thus it is blue, adn then it dies and turns brown then black. It looks brown to me and whoever said it looks grey could be from the thing its taking out of her. Anyways I am off to work. Laters, Rick
