Too Much Time

Was wondering if anyone else is spending way too much time on this stuff like I am? Not sure why that is, but for some reason I am hooked on all this alien stuff. Kind of like I'm addicted to it or something. I'm really not much of a horror fan, especially like Friday the 13th, or Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I do love scifi and action and the idea of aliens, so maybe that's the reason. I have loved the Alien movies, not crazy about Alien Resurrection, but the first three were good. Didn't care much for the Alien vs Predator movies either, would rather have seen us somehow go into space and find the predators maybe. Ideally, it would have been great to actually find the Alien homeworld, but with the direction Prometheus is going, it looks as if that won't happen anytime in the near future. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has become almost obsessed with the movie and finding out all the details? Makes me wonder what will happen once I see the movie, with all the hype and getting into it, then I see it and it's over!!!

will not happen dude , l`m 49 and Alien has always been a movie that i always think about once in a while over years after i saw for the first time . want to learn more , simple........ stick to this site and read and read , good items and stuff always comes up and Ya ,,spending way to much time on this ,,but who cares

If as we suspect the jockeys are the instigators of the alien dna then the jockeys origins are the xenos origins. so the jockeys home world is the xenos assuming we know where the jockey is from in prometheus.

Alien drone speaks the truth, im on this site waaaaaaaay too much there pros and cons to it, the cons are obviously wasting time and spoiling too much for myself. but the pros outway the cons, I enjoy the speculation, getting peoples interpretation, plus its my favorite trilogy ( I don't count alien resurrectshit) , but alien drone is not alone, im addicted and I need my fix lol (goes watch the trailers ) lol

Right here, friends and neighbors. Waxed poetic on a thread, having spent too much time on the blu-rays today, while checking for updates here. Keep watching the International trailer because of how heartbreaking the naivety of these characters are before getting Royally Spanked (TM Pending, some assembly required). Keep doing the freeze frame, anyone? Digging into photos of Noom? Yep - front and center, browser open and wide to scour any image I can find. Glad to see there's a few of us out there that have a habit. Could be worse..... Off for a smoke on the porch with a beer in hand before doing the "Alien: Res" gig. Yeah, it's a rough watch, but the guy gets credit for making "City Of Lost Children". ....we were so wrong....

Sex, food, gambling are addictive, but this is a necessity. Its like breathing, you can do without it for a short time, but after that your brain dead. Simple answer, NO I do not spend too much time obsessing about PROMETHEUS. And yes, I did find a way to catch the trailer Saturday while at work. It's not about why you do it, it's about how you go about doing it. Happy Hunting SJs!!!

You have a point. If Scott and Giger were not involved, I doubt this forum would exist. Maybe a tribute to these two great artists and not so much the film. But it's still fun to speculate on what we've been waiting decades to see.
