Alien Mutation

This past week, I have thought more about the Alien series, than I have my whole life, which is kind of strange, but fun. Just wanted to put something out there and see what everyone thinks. We all know that there is a lot of talk about mutating in this new movie and perhaps it happens, but from thinking about the 4 Alien movie that have come before, there has really never been an mutations of the Alien creature until the scientist in Alien Resurrection start doing experiments. The alien creature pretty much stays what it has been through those four movies, although we have different types of Aliens, they are all very much related to the original. That leads me to believe that the Space Jockeys already had that species maybe created, who knows, but I really don't think this is a story or movie about how we get the Alien, I think it's a story about the Space Jockeys and what they are doing and maybe at some point how they end up on LV-426 with a hole in the chest. I think the story somehow centers on the Space Jockeys and us screwing things up, maybe there are aliens in it, but it doesn't tell that story . What do you guys thing?
