Yeah, it looks that way. What if the big bald guy is an android, that would be interesting. I think that the big mothership flying saucer is what is buried under the ground, from which the derelict ship tries to escape from.
in the uk trailer at 0.37 clearly looks like a larger person being worshiped by some people smaller than him. also his head is big and long very much like that of the thing throwing the space suit guy.
