Definately Mr Clean. Seriously your probably right. My spin on this is that that being was banished to earth in its primordial beginnings and he was basically immortal. He had the knowledge but no travel to and fro. So he influenced cultures by the wall art for his way home hoping someday the primitives he helped create would evolve enough to find him a means off this rock. Somebody pointed out that may be Guy Peirce. What a great idea hes a prodigy and rich. Maybe he was at it a long time to amass that wealth. Why would he need to return home would be my question. Revenge?

It's entirely possible. The figure standing next to Shaw is definitely not a giant, but the SJ from "Alien" unquestionably,[i] was[/i].....also, in the promotional still, the two SJ suits hanging in a hallway with Rapace in foreground are huge. I'm wondering if the SJ tech "evolves" ( ala' 2001) a crewmember into something which looks and behaves like an engineer, but isn't so large. Perhaps the "real" engineers are all dead, so we're left with some gigantic empty suits, and a human-sized quasi-engineer........... personally, I'll be pretty ticked off, if I don't get to see a real, honest-to-goodness SJ. I like the idea of one lurking in stasis for tens of thousands of years, just waiting take care of business, if the kiddies don't play by their rules.

The size and texture between the two are totally different. The bottom one compared to Shaw looks male human proportions. I think he maybe helping Shaw but Shaw does not recognize him because his skin. Biologically, the only thing same between an android and humans is skin. "Weyland Industries earns patent number 9,158,239 for a chemical composition of classified properties able to almost perfectly replicate the biological features and texture of human skin." Just guessing at the bottom picture what I think is a human in the past when the first Space Jockey visited Earth. The Space Jockey select a few to join, be part of their species and explore the universe or the human stole their secrets and their ship and killed all the Space Jockeys during their exploration. Space Jockeys are evolutioned humans by chemical called etir or by natural causes over time my guess. : P

Fact is, we've never been SHOWN what the guy in that chair WAS for certain. He looked alien, but Sir Ridley has always maintained that was a suit of some sort. So whatever he shows us NOW, will be what it is. I think that makes sense.....?

Am I the only one who sees a second one in the first pic? It's arm is visible on the right. imdb also lists an engineer and elder engineer in the cast list. I would think Prometheus crew members would have names.
