@sukkal; Biomechanic posted that he thought David8, using the visor was in fact reading shaw's dreams. There were even images up and the neuro-visor link established was pointed out as proof he was reading her dreams. Which we now know was exactly what he was up to. It was an incredible post and so sad it is gone. :(

Thanks Svanya it was nothing really just figured that weird helmet had to do something creepy.
However while watching the movie for the first time I was kind of dissapointed I had thought of this among other things. The over analyzing I had done before the movie kind of hurt my enjoyment. I stayed away from most spoilers and stayed away from all sites when it premiered in UK but I allowed myself the trailers and TV spots thinking they were safe. Now I feel like everything was basically given away. Kept having a nagging "I think I know what's going to happen next" feeling.
Lesson learned I guess.
Free deguassings for everyone who remembers too much.

Certainly agree that pretty much all the meat of the film was given away. A sort of backwards marketing, creating a "nah there must be even more to this, amazing if so" mentality. When really it was Scotts "All about everything" way of doing it right there, in the preamble to the main event
