Multiple Infections

Sorry if this has been discussed before but why does everyone think one person(Holloway) gets infected? When the Space Jocky is walking towards David in the star map room maybe he bites or hurts him and puts something in his system and his skin starts morphing. Then he jumps on the dude who could be Holloway and puts the virus in him and he gives it to Shaw but she gets treated, David gets killed, and Holloway either gives it to Weyland or not and one of them becomes the Space Jocky. Anyway tell me your thoughts.

Well I can't tell if it is Holloway's face or not and maybe he's in pain because David infected him.

I have a feeling that Holloway is the one who gets infected. Just from the trailers. When he looks at his eye that hints at that possibility.

Holloway clearly gets infected by something, we see it in his eye. That, or he's hallucinating. As for the figure writhing on the ground all horribly veiny, I can't make out who it is. Could be Holloway later on, the infection kicking into high gear. Fifield gets infected and morphed.

My theory is the temple consists of an experiment. The Jockeys/Engineers know that we will send our strongest, brightest and best to the planet to attempt to make contact with their makers and/or steal their knowledge and technology. Of course not all of the crew will truly be our brightest and best, so the parasite that gets unleashed will eventually pit the less able against the surviving elite. The less capable will succumb to the effects of parasite whose effects will manifest themselves in the form of mutations where the parasite simply reacts to the genetic material inside the host. If the host is found weak, it will transform into a beast or monster at a quicker rate than those that are strong. It becomes a race against time where the strongest must solve the puzzle, come up with a solutions before they succumb to the parasite as well. As I pointed out earlier, to make things worse they have to fight against crew who already have transformed into monsters. If there is actually a solution remains unknown. Its possible the Jockeys determine humanity is a waste decide to leave the planet amidst the chaos to destroy Earth. edit: To add to this, perhaps humanity was developed to possible counter terror agents such as the parasite that infects them. If humanity successfully can overcome the parasite they may be considered good soldiers for the Space Jockeys (humans would be considered both biological resilient and environmentally adaptive / not brutish fighters, but crafty warriors that could be trained to use Jockey tech). Perhaps the human-like blue man is a member of the crew who somehow gets a hand on this Jockey tech to be bestowed to the winner of the test or puzzle. Maybe he gets it pre-maturely...steals it from the jockey corpses found on the ground who may be Jockeys killed by their own biological agent (as described here a few times on the boards). It doesn't make sense why the Jockeys would wait millions or thousands of years for evolution do its stuff and create good enough humans to make into possible soldiers...

The veiny guy groaning in pain is Holloway, you can see his nametag in the original Alien-esque teaser

"The veiny guy groaning"...? I don't recall where that's at. Can you give an exact time on the trailer, and which trailer it is...?
