Doors on side of SJ ship

I was just thinking about the doors on the side of the SJ ship that Dallas, Lambert and Kane use to enter. You can clearly see these in the trailer. I was thinking that the SJ has his suit because the ship has no atmosphere inside because of the open doors. How could he breathe otherwise?

Could be exhaust ports........and its safe to assume that this ship is advanced enough to have some kind of internal shielding or external while in space.......which hadnt been switched on in time before Prometheus crashes into it. I want to know where the walls of bone have gone.

those doors are one of gigers more perverted streaks.....reportedly he even wanted them with a 'hymen' that Kane, Dallas and Lambert had to breach to get inside the ship.
