The urns are really those fancy cardboard things that each hold a bottle of single malt Scotch whisky. The SJs are really a race of lushes, and they get angry when Prometheus finds this out and starts drinking their stuff. They then leave for Earth to unleash their wrath on the humans and terraform Earth's oceans into whisky for themselves.

That ties in nicely with the pictogram in the cave on the Isle of Skye. The space jockey is pointing to his home world and saying, ""Aye, here there be Whiskey""

I'm not much of a drinker, so I'm definitely no connoisseur of alcohol. I'm leery to try that Space Jockey brew.....though at the same time it feels right. Oh well; it's lightyears away from me, so no go.
