MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 2:33 PMSame here Gemn, I'm hoping for worm/serpent monstrosities
rather than stag beetles in this film. I really hope Giger has done
something in the 'creature dept' as well as the mural.

Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 3:30 PMAlso the tentacles at the bottom of Gigers painting look an awful lot like the wormy tentacle going into the arm in the trailer. And along with Gigers unused Dune Harkonenn temple, it looks like Ridley is bringing back a lot of his old designs, along with the Ron Cobb looking Prometheus ship!!

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 3:36 PMMaybe when the crew of the prometheus pull back the green curtain in the alien ship, they will see a shriveled up old H.R. Giger programming a giant super bio computer while drinking some acidy-slimey goo! LOL. J/K-- I like the idea of Ridley going back to Giger's early creepy work for this film.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 4:21 PMNow I understand the hostility of this monster...
It's so much shorter than what it was expected to be.
Damn genetics!
But seriously, this is a very good comparison. I've seen both pictures before and never caught the similarity. I certainly prefer a serpentine monster to a tentacled one. It is after all, the larval stage of what comes next.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 6:23 PMNever mind Huante and Rezard, I've always fancied the possibility of the makers
just using Giger's 'Necronomicon' for the designs - that's all they need.
