That's the "mini-alien/parasite" after it is removed and lifted out of Shaw in the Weyland automated medical operating pod. Look closely at other stills on this forum and you can see in its head some sort of likeness to the original Xenomorph, in the fact it has no discernible eyes.... If that is the case, one wonders what kind of mischief or genetic tampering/accident causes the Xeno to be created.

Maybe this thing could evolve more into the Face Hugger?
