In both shots the extra craft is in pursuit. The shot of the impact shows two thrusters hitting and that little ship has two thrusters right up front. Edit: okay the "smaller ship" is the prometheus but the other ship looks like more than a lifeboat

Like I said, it detaches from prometheus, but it looks like more than just a lifeboat.

I count two lifeboats deployed The one that Vickers' uses shows three spots that could have been used by Ravel and Chance. The first one that was released appeared to be similar iin size and structure to Vickers' safety mudule. Hmm that makes a possible group of lifeboats that could handle 6 people. Do you think as a crew member you would be happy with maybe a place for 6 crew members in lifeboats? The Titanic had more lifeboats for the crew and passengers.
