Release date in Spain is august 10th, in Italy it's on september, I'll have to atay away from internet for 2 months

This is definately one of those movies that I wish was getting a worldwide release on the same date. But thankfully I'm in the U.K. and will be able to catch this on opening day without anyone being able to spoil all the storyline/plot secrets of it beforehand! @ Spacey Man and others not Europe-based - Do what I would have done if it had been released in U.S.A. first...DON'T look at ANY sites online after it's initial release where there's the slightest chance of everything being *spoiled* for you...including this one!

Thanks, but I will happen to be in a place where it will be released on 30 May. I'll get to see it early. I'm just worried about all my U.S. friends.

My lips are sealed, will watch it on may 30th, probably 2 or 3 times in different theaters.

Theres only 8 days between May 30th and June 8th. In fact its about time we in Blightey got to see a movie before our friends across the pond. We had to wait a whole month before The THING was released here. Anyway. I think many people will stop posting once the movie has been viewed. OR Everyone who see the movie will post "SEE....I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN I WAS RIGHT.....I KNEW IT.....I KNEW THERE WERE XENOS IN IT" Etc,etc lol. Might be best to stay away during the European releases lol.....theyll be too many spoilers.

HEY.....i just had a thought. Why dont a bunch of us go see the movie together.....then go to Pizza hut afterwards to discuss the movie lol. Like a Prometheus-movie.com party or something. Just a thought lol.

I aint gonna say sh!t when it comes out in the UK ... I hate spoiling for others ... Me and a mate are doing a double booking back to back ... probably with a spare set in the middle for the foodage :) ...

I live in Portugal and the release date here is 7th June, I think. Very good news, since movies are usually released in portugal two or three months after their release date in the U.S.

Well I didnt really have the heart to break it to you all, but the May 30th release is going to be the toned down version so as not to offend your delicate sensibilities..... and the June 8th release is going to be the Extra-"Grauslich" version. :P

@ CanadaPhil - Wait...that's an 'April fools' right? ...er, right?...

lol.... Makes a difference, its usually the other way around. sometimes a movie will be near to DVD release in the US or actually just come out, when the same movie comes out in the UK in the Cinema.

BugHunter has assured me he's working a way to approach the issue of spoilers regarding the 8 day stretch between European and U.S. release dates...
