Original inhabitants of earth!!

This just came to me after reading the most recent Q&A with Sir Ridley but what if the Jockeys and/or the blue guys are the original inhabitants of earth a higher species of man? They had a civilization like Atlantis untill it was destroyed by a catastrophe where they left earth leaving behind their less evolved descendants/relatives which became us! Wanting to dominate earth again they create the Xenos as a cleaning crew for wiping out humans! Learning about this plan one or many Jockeys rebell and give mankind the intelligence to fight their masters! The good Jockeys watch over mankind helping build the pyramids, stonehenge...etc! They place in each society a pictogram of where there homeplanet is! The bad news is that the evil jockeys discover this planet and exterminate the good jockeys and place the derelict with the xeno-goo in the planet so when the humans come the derelict will go to earth and eliminate the humans thus reconquering their original homeworld! The exact location of earth is somehow lost! I know this idea has many hole in it but this is my guess!

Your point starting was right on the nose! I just think the xenos evolve later. Keep your mind on organisms! Evolution is going to play a part in Prometheus for sure!

Well it is obvious the xenos exist during the time of Prometheus, due to the "Mural" on the wall/ceiling. I think this is very plausible! Nice idea man!

How was that created and who was it?[/i] In the trailer some one says, its an invitation and later we were wrong. Perhaps it was an invitation but not for us, but for an older species of Earth who left millions of years ago. That said, if I find out that Xenos were created by the people from Atlantis I will never watch another Alien movie again. I think that particular story would be so full of plot holes, In space everyone would hear me scream.

Thanks for the support! @TheNextLV26 Dont be dissapointed if they turn out to be from Atlantis knowing Ridley he'll have an AWESOME explanation!!! Maybe Ridley and Damon want to give a twist on the Ancient Astronaut theory making the Ancient Astronaut/Aliens actually a higher evolved race of homonids from earth wanting to regane controll from their less evolved descendants/relatives?

Doesn't this sound like a carbon copy of the storyline in the wrongfully cancelled sci-fi series "The Event"?? Advanced humans inhabited Earth thousands/millions of years ago, they left for deep space but then had to return due to their planet dying etc. . .

My answer to the originally posted question would be IMO I think the Race that is, is the race led by that KING at the beginning of the trailer. [b]Edit: And I don't really think he is part of the race we know as "The Engineers"/"Space Jockey".[/b]
