New Synopsis description

In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers. -are these the bits you haven't seen here or mentioned before? If so, please do a little research before posting bc those bits are very passé.

and probably have wrong infos .... we have no hint of that two superpowers fighting ( and we really dont need another subplot ) , we have no hint that the expeditions is sent to terraform a planet ( more probably they are following shaw's discoveries ) and that "race of indigenous biokillers" sound a bit kiddish .

@spacejock I discussed this in one of my previous posts here http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/3017 the interesting thing is that TWO websites give this description now and not just one! Thanks for the heads up I think this proves my theories on this description!

@Frantz, yea i know, everything with a grain of salt. I just thought mentioning TWO superpowers was interesting and too specific to just pull out of nowhere. lol i like how u get facehugged on this site right away when u bring up something thtwas mentioned before. Crucify me whatever lol. peace

it's been around since the trailer was debuted. The AMC version of the video in youtube had that description. I believe march 17 is when that info came about.

Spacejock, I've made a couple comments to people about posting topics recently discussed only to find in my last topic I made the same error. It gets a little annoying when you're reading the same topics over and over, but I think at this point it's just unavoidable, so don't worry about it. I try to look back a day or two but that's it; there's just too many new threads everyday to sift through.

When the film was re-released a few years ago,I saw things that were new to me,and I don't know how many times I've seen it.I think it's a good thing to keep to keep getting new insights and new views.

The way this site has evolved, there is no sense in checking any forums except for those posted the last time you visited. Be that 2 weeks or 15 minutes ago. At least that's how I use it. If I go to make a post, I will look a little farther back to make sure there are no recent similar threads, but that's about all you can ask us to do, with so much info and so many threads.

yeah they really need to get that BUMP POST thing working so we can have a few threads that truly evolve instead of thought continuing over multiple threads because the original post got buried.

Super Powers Fighting is taken out of context. Its mearly like McDonalds vs Burger King but then McDonalds dispatch a team to Mars to find a new ingredient that can make McDonalds Burgers taste even better than Burger Kings Flame Grilled ones ;) Meaning that Weyland and Yutani are just corpirate companies trying to dominate the World in various areas.
