Ok, the truly lush landing sequence,(I am down to ten percent I pad charge now so will write as much as poss and continue and answer questions when I get home!) this landing sequence had me really packing wood, it reminded me of alien but the ship is so much more luxurious and new and expensive and even though weather conditions were pretty rough the Prometheus could totally hack it! The 3D was hard on material and I just wanted to watch the whole movie. You see an awesome shot of the ting Prometheus next to the big planet, heading for the small LV223, I did notice that the big planet did have rings though, the sheer Beaty of the shot pretty much had my jaw open. Ok so the ship lands and this she I got a little upset, the footage then pretty much kicked into the standard international trailer montage and I knew our sleek reveal was coming to an end! One extra thing I did see was the serpent like alien thing that we have just the one shot of before as it slips into a suit, on this footage you see it stand up and hiss looking very much like a pink cobra! The house lights then came up, we all clapped and chrisbgreen(fox marketing guy) introduced the q and a host chris Hewitt the editor of empire, who then introduced Scott, rapace, fasts bender and theron. I will post the q and a session details when I get home as I am nearly out of power! Hope I have painted a detailed enough picture for you all! Whilst my memory still holds! Peace

The most anticipated film of the year. The return of Ridley Scott to the genre he helped redefine. They went looking for our beginning. What they found could be our end. Coming this summer: PINK COBRAS, BLUE GUYS AND A SQUID THING Experience it in IMAX 3D
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

I will be traveling 300miles to watch this in IMAX 3D can't bloody wait. It will be a 15 here in England I am guessing but these days they are a lot more lenient than than used to be. I tried so hard not to read the articles on the first showing of real footage but like a child desperate to get into a preaent I couldn't resist lol

@TheHighPriest... Great breakdown. One question... When you go see it on opening night, will you pick 3D or 2D?

Awesome! I was hoping at some point I'd hear a positive affirmation of 3D on this film.

BTW, did you have a chance to ask Spartacus's question to RS, about Parker's one-cheek-sneak?

I could have affirmed some 3D for you last week, the full length trailer was amazing in 3D, it added more depth to the movie rather than having stuff shooting out towards the audience. However Titanic suffered in 3D, as my wife said "well the bubbles are cool" LOL Question for High Priest- Was the Pink Cobra hiss like a Xeno hiss?? Did it sound familiar? Also are you agood enough artist to maybe draw a quick pic that would resemble what you saw?? If not is anybody here a police sketch artist?!?! LOL

@alien dna Probably best I don't draw it! Let me try to elaborate. It was only a split second and my rusty synapses are beggining to struggle already, however I seem to remember the head (cobra like) resembling a pussy (as in vagina) it stood up exactly like a cobra does and hissed, well kind of like a.....cobra, very very snake like - perhaps there was a hint of xeno hiss there though? I think the important thing I picked up from the viewing was that ALL the characters seemed to play a part - so we as the audience will be getting attached to them all (17 of them remember) so when they all start to suffer horrific, grisly ends, we are gonna feel for them, miss them! This basic elementary part of making a good film is the part SO many directors and producers miss, time after time after time, and that includes Alien 3 and 4 and all the rest of it. This singular point really gave me a lot of faith in Prometheus, and hey - the 3D and visuals are utterly stunning as well!!!
