Well In my case, my favorite is the scene of the Big head and the space jockey sitting in his reclining chair...

"the fact that you see in poor quality have added even more mystery"
I am so totally with you on that my friend...I've felt that way ever since...like they leaked on purpose in that awful quality to start let the salivating begin...

Honestly...it's the overall experience of the first teaser trailer...even in the poor quality of its leak from November.....from moment one with Noomi's, "I was wrong. We were so wrong...and I'm so sorry" followed by the BRMMM...BRMMMMM.....BRMMMMMMM.......to the heiroglyphic graphic title reference to 'Alien' and all that came with it....that trailer screamed 'Alien' and the ten year old boy in me has just been giddy ever since......

@craigamore I agree, this trailer leaked. In fact, the fact that you see in poor quality have added even more mystery IMHO.
PS: They have gone out new trailers and TV spots, but none revealed the scene of the parasite that came out of the hull of the Space Jockey in the temple of the big head (in fact this scene appears in the leaked trailer)

me too! in fact I keep my copy on my laptop well protected and usually watch the trailer from time to time to remember that first feeling of the first impression of Prometheus. On the other hand I like seeing the first official trailer to try to imagine how they would see the deleted scenes of the leaked trailer.

And if I also had the thought that their "filtering" was actually a smart marketin (to raise the Hype)

My favorite scene is when that worm thing goes into that guys arm in the IMAX trailer!
April 13, 2012
The HEAD - all the way.
Think about all the other images..it all the same without the head. There is a reason they started the marketing with it.

..and Synthrimonger94:
when I saw that, my expectations went down a few notches!
It seems like all the other scifi crap we've seen for 35 yrs!
April 13, 2012
Hmmm that's debatable! I think thank worm/eel thing infects the crew and "posseses" him!. Probably why the mohawk guy is attacking that crew member!
April 13, 2012
easily and by far the best scene I have seen in film in the past 33+ years and I haven't even seen more than a few seconds of it in slow mo earlier today and I am still shaking from seeing it....
The scene at the very end of the Space Jockey Suit and Jockey...Unlocking !!!
I'm shaking now typing it !!!

I like when Janek says "brace for entry" and Fifield is seen buckling up very keenly. It's so out of place, he looks like a real rebel who wouldn't dare take orders from "the man" but when you think about it, he has probably suffered the consequences of not buckling up before. LOL
April 13, 2012
I liked when Janek says: What the hell is going on there?
and yeah the true fire of the gods in the movie and Ridley is Prometheus who gives us.

Favorite scene either the big blue "tail" slapping the bloody glass almost in Shaws face or the leaked trailers classic "facehugger scene"...I can't express in words how happy I was when I saw the later of the 2 for the first time...just too too happy unnaturally happy, euphoric.
But to me I don't think it's a scene that gets me the most as opposed to the aounds that accompany the trailers. One of my favorite tid bits is when see shaw praying but hear the over laying audio... Three words CUT IT OFF!!! CUT IT OFFFff!!!
Oh man I gotta to get my fix and watch a trailer or too Ive gone and worked myself up.
April 14, 2012
YEAH THE CUT IT OFF!!! CUT IT OFFFff!!! is very great and terrifying at once. God damn! I have to see this movie now!

If it's not the exploding spacecrafts, you are all lying.
a. This is the first shot of the classic Alien/jockey craft
b. Spaceship exploding, in atmosphere, .....in the trailer(?!)
Otherwise:
*yeah, in the teaser, when the faceplate on the helmet is fizzing, that right there, the first moment of an iconic Alien vibe that hasn't been seen in thirty years. Instant love.
*The first sound of the iconic alien distress screams as the full trailer propels to the finish. I heard that and I think my jaw hit the floor.
*Shaw doing who knows what, some act of resolution or prayer. It's a character moment that instantly tells you this person is in completely over her head, and willing to fight to her last breath. It's so undeniably perfect, and especially how it tells you in an instant of film what kind of story this will be. It's defining.
*The Prometheus has landed. That shot is so wickedly beautiful. Completely real in my mind, and I have to remind myself that this craft doesn't exist. As FX go, that shot is completely sexy, the kind of shot that tells you this film is top shelf, 2012.
*The planet landscape literally irising open while Shaw (?) runs for some form of safety. That is a huge shot, absolutely huge in scope. And, to my eye, they pull it off. Compare this to the stadium shot in the Dark Knight Rises trailer, and when comparing the success of the two ideas, and Prometheus blows it away in execution. Perhaps the shot in DKR is still being tweaked, but regardless, think about this shot again: The entire landscape irises open! How do you even write that in a script without laughing about what it would take to pull it off. Balls.
* and finally, Noomi Rapace at the end of the television spot, just screaming it out there. So so awesome.
