Visceral...viscous.....we are all for this ain't it?

Certainly, all true followers of Alien, when faced with in the 1979 movie, would only dream of, but could never be prepared for the ultimate horror they would be experiencing after all...That was "all the money" for Alien. The deep, almost religious fear, awe and terror it would made all us fans feel...Something like this creature was totally true and we would all try to prove that such kind of a life form is plausible in nature and that is why we all found it so easy to get scared and even feel threatened by it even days or months from leaving the theater. I, for one, watched it in the delicate age of 12, and in a time when cinema experiences were rare..I remember falling in love with Helen Ripley (totally), and then trying to find out when the movie would stop showing, so that I can go to the cinema owner and beg him for a poster or a photo. Even by then I knew this would be impossible, since all portrayed photos and posters of the movie were part of the contract, they would all be given to the next cinema in another town for projection and so on....Man...it felt soooo real! So now you know you are dealing with a true fan (yeiiiiiii), let me tell you one of the strong reasons why we all are waiting to watch Prometheus, apart from our undeniable right to get the answers on the whereabouts and the purpose in life of this creature. We are all in, because we need to relive this ultimate terror, we want to attempt a rebirth through our baptism into this new, yet to be discovered terror offered by Prometheus. Certainly not the expected way to become a child again...But I still consider Sir Ridley Scott, as my spiritual father, he shaped my fantasy, my love for the ultimate in space, my evolution as an artist. I thank him so much for this. And the more I find out how many of you out there think of this like I do, with the same respect, awe and reverence, the so much happier I become, cause I would think of it mainly as one personal experience, that I wouldn't be able to share with others. So to the point! Are there visceral things in Prometheus? Oh boy yes!I will only recite from the trailer: "It's moving? This thing is moving? Why is that?", "Why is that door open?", "cut it off, cut it off", "somebody shoot, will somebody shoot?"," what the hell is going on down there?", "Kill everything, do you copy me?". And then only describe a few scenes: the tentacles of the squid before Shaw's face in the Pod...then when Shaw looks through the door window into some kind of lab and a pink tentacle hits the glass....people burning with flame throwers presumably all kind of nastiness creatures spread around everywhere... this hideous tentacle in the eye of a crew member, the famous pink animal that tries to pass through the suit of a crew member, this famous blue guy?...the deformed mohawk atacking the crew...and a bonus from me: when I played the extra slow motion posted, I believe I witnessed minute 28 of the movie, where Idris Elba becomes the first victim of a creature. Right there I think somebody is shooting, probably unsuccessfully, and then the camera turns to the right to show Idris in terror, and then when the camera zooms out a bit and starts turning to the left, the swiftly moving tentacles of some kind of creature become apparent...giving a sense of a creature about the half height of a human but certainly huge regarding the rests of its body. Now don't get me wrong. It's not only for the visceral part. But maybe its the most fun part of the entire experience I expect to live. I trust sir Ridley Scott, will actually manage to reshape and refresh our sci-fi mentality. For whatever this is worth, he is the only one entitled to!
