An important finding here?

I can't tell what your 'blue' part is either. Could be some sort of cocooning from the ship? The 'red' I can for sure see the hands. Maybe just empty,unused suits? Who knows. Maybe something of a spoiler here.

Nice outlines...but could you elaborate? What is the significance of the hand? Are you confirming a figure?

It may be dead bodies of Space Jockeys or just suits

I can easily see the "ship/seat structure" and the hands, arms and head on the one guy....but what are they I wonder? I cant make out your other pink outline or the blue outline though. This is an interesting scene though. Cant wait to find out whats going on it it.

Well there seems to be some kind of structure to those objects, they are not part of the walls they are not natural rock formation. Something looks to have happened to some kind of Organisms. Space Jockeys its hard to make out. But we see one scene where there is one on the floor in a room when two of the crew are examaning something... maybe the head.helmet but maybe not as size looks too big for a Space Jockey Helmet compared to body. Maybe it is the Head though? Well if thats the case then how can one survive for Alien? if thats a different ship why only one Space Jockey? And off course we have this... So why see 2 more suits, with the what looks like 4 boddies if there are only 4 Jockeys. A Question has to then go to, where are the persons who would go inside those suits? or do they carry spare suits and thus not have one suit per Blue Guy or what ever. So back to your orginal post, there seems to be Dead Space Jockeys, but how and why?

@markos_prometheus Nice picture indeed. On the other hand I'm wondering if the sight of dead bodies of Space Jockeys alo have to do with a civil war in the past. Although they may be victims of their own biological weapon, who knows ...

@Freeze Him! : Thanks for confiming. If you go to the trailer as well and freeze it :) when you have this image I posted you can see it for yourself even clearer. I believe its clearly the hand of an sj as we knew him from 1979. But could be the exo-sceleton. Nothing ofcourse prevents us from thinking that the dead blue guy is still within his suit. Now I don't know why they just sit there dead. Looks like neat seats the one next to the other. These strange blue things...remind me of xenos...a battle fought and lost..i don't know. @Mentos: Yes I believe this is more than one figure of 2-3 sjs. Lying dead. A burrial chamber...not likely, but who knows...

Whats interesting is the back ground looks a lot like part of a cave system. The other image i posted looks more like on board a Space Ship, or indeed it could be like how we build under ground complexes in that once shot is close to the entrance the other further inside the complex. The fact that the crew wear their helmets in the first OP image of the what could be boddies stacked up on the side. But they dont for the images i posted, which means it must be the outside or just in the entrance to the Temple.

@Shambhala: Thanks for your kind words. I believe the theory of a past civil war...I have posted something relevant. Like some sjs are not benevolent and in a struggle for taking over the good sjs they killed them...with the xeno weapon...which probably was developed by the bad blue guys...so two theories can co-exist regarding explanation for those sj bodies.... @WhyDontTheyFreezeHim: Can't wait to find out myself too!:) @BigDave: The civil war theory suggested above, could explain this mess. I tend to believe that the blue guy is actually what is in every sj suit. Maybe this guy is malevolent, and killed the others who were "good" and only cared for maintaining life and evolution throughout the cosmos..(by a brief look at the 3d hologram in which Dave finds himself in, it would appear that it depicts all planets known to the sjs and visited by them and probably maintained promising life). For some reason the blue guy decided to obtain all this power for himself...civil war then?

Well this is just a complete Guess a stab in the dark... Maybe the Xeno killed them? We see in the Mural what looks like our Blue Guy touching what looks like a slumped over creature? Maybe this Mural also turns into the Xeno Mural? What if somehow this Blue Guy was created by the Space Jockey, or Created them... He unleashed the Xenos or created them to take out Space Jockeys. Once Space Jockey managed to collect all the Egg Bio Weapons and set off to get rid of them, but something went wrong. Thus this Jockey was trying to take away the Bio Weapons the Blue Guy let lose or created or what ever, to a more safer place? Then again how do we explain the Derelict in this movie, why would the Blue Guy need to create a Suit thats like the Jockeys to Pilot the ship? Ridley did say the Jockey was a Space Suit, in the one scene in Prometheus you can see the Blue Guy walk upto the Chair and the Chair has the Helmet on it, so once Blue Guy sits in the Chair the Helmet comes down and then he gets strapped/attached to the Chair. That helmet in the scene when he is in the Chair looks just like the one they crew find and place on the Med Table etc. So i would assume that if anything the Blue Guy if the culprit may have unleashed something against his fellow Race? Or..... Was they making some kind of experiement or Bio Weapon that went wrong, and killed off nearly all their Race. One or a few survivors manage to clean up the Xeno or Xeno related Organisms and then does everyting to contain them so they cant do no more damage. Maybe when the crew come along they mess about with stuff that then potentialy unleashes Organism or Chain Reaction that can cause havock like what happened to the Space Jockeys. And that lone Jockey is pissed off to say the least, ( bit like the scene in Ghost Busters where they shut down the containment unit unleashing the Ghosts) The crew unleash or potentially unleash a Organism that can create what the lone Jockey spend ages trying to contain and then thinks.... you know what you come here, after i cleaned up the mess and you make more mess. Well you want to know whats in those Urns, the trouble i had to put right before, ok then... I just gonna go pop round to your house and give you the mess i had to put up with.

@BigDave: so you are suggesting that by moving further inside the cave, Prometheus crew could take off their helmets? Like the place was prepared for sustaining human life in the inside?

@BigDave - Youre right. I never noticed that the background looks like a cave. I always assumed it was the same background that weve all seen before in the derelict. This damn movie cant come out soon enough! I need to know whats going on down there!

Great theories.Your theories support the portal theory...if what's shown in the trailer is indeed a portal it could be the fail safe and explanation between the two ships on LVs. As soon as sjs had the mess contained they moved all developed eggs to the ship on LV 426 through the portal. At the same time, more controlled experiments were held within the cave in LV-223. I agree the Prometheus crew did mess up something. These urns were never meant to be opened, at least not by unqualified personnel. That blue guy is not good intended. And as so, he must have probably inflicted harm to his own race...Deep things...I like it!

i'd venture to say, that those are definitely dead carcasses of Engineers not likely the Engineers would just leave all those bio-suits in such a messy pile, and the decapitated Engineer's head that Shaw is examining in the medical bay further suggests some foul play done to the Engineers - - but by whom or what...??? just my speculation of course...

@Shardy: True...and as my posted picture possibly implies, there are hands there, but it appears that heads are missing too? Ok..long shot. It's all in the dark...I can't really see. Just speculate. Probably killed by the same person, the same way?

Well I don't know for theories, but I honestly think we are assuming too much here! What we know is: [list] [*] the Prometheus crew will find some nasty stuff there, probably in the form of what they though was good, and turns out not to be (RS said it himself) [*] there is a blue guy, who apparently can pilot the ship/use its technology (we've seen him do it in the trailer) [*] What we've known for the past 32 years as the Space Jockey is a suit! We can all stop with anything else already! RS as said it, and we've all seen it start to strap-off in the trailer (probably dozens of times...) - just a note: I'd much rather have the SJ be an actual alien, not a suit, but hey, that's life for you! [/list] So I both don't like the "two species" theory, and don't see any actual hint towards it. The only factual thing I hear people talk about when they mention this is the UFO-like space ship in the trailer. Yeah, because we in earth don't have all sorts of different vehicules... Obviously a space faring race can't possibly have several ship designs... As for a human mutating into a blue guy?... Not a big fan of the idea, but it could be, and RS could just very well pull it off and make me change my mind :) On the other hand, we have a very alien thing in what looks like a medical bay in the IMAX trailer, at 0:55. I think it's pretty clear that there will be some, from Holloway's eye and the scene (with Shaw?) in the medical pod. Now if Shaw is infected by Holloway? I guess it could. As it has been stated before, we have no idea on the sequence of events, and after being for a few years in chrio sleep, I guess I'd be in for some fun too ;) Obviously, I'm in no way implying several species WONT show up, I'm just saying that anything beyond the blue guy is theory.

The arms of the top figure seem to resemble those of the suits behind Shaw in the promotional shot. I watched this clip several times, and couldn't make sense of the other figures, in light of the suits. They might be dead, suited SJs, or there could also be other, past "invitees" who met unfortunate ends. One thing is for sure, if SJs are still active and rummaging about the place, they aren't much on house keeping.

I never said there could be a Portal did i? Not sure lol What i noticed is indeed that the one scene you can make out more of a cave construction. [img]http://i.imgur.com/fmBh7.jpg[/img] Here is the Entrance to the Cave/Temple, well i think it is? Maybe as you walk into the Cave at first its cut out of cave walls, then the further in you get more of a contruction/walls built and further in is where it is a kind of base/temple built into the Cave/Mountain. Thus i think the image of the boddies stacked up, is taken from before they get to the body on the floor and the Head Statue, the other image with Shaw and the suits hanging near the walls are much deeper inside and maybe near the entrance to the Derelict. Thats just guess work though.
