I ant seen that movie, but you can tell its just a action sci fi movie, it will have a weaker plot than say Independence Day or War of the Worlds. Its just excuse to do say District 9, Meets Skyline Meets Transformers but in Sea.

I'm with Kane on that... District 9 is pretty great. I am however not with Kane on ever seeing Battleship, lol. How did you get wrangled into seeing that mess?

District 9 is a great movie it shud never be compared to trash like transformers or skyline... or battleship... or battlefield LA or any of the generic superhero movies i.e. avengers (and all the previous individual movies) Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and all the shit Twilight movies, and Hunger Games and continuous shit spewing from Hollywoods asshole I want something intelligent something that will challenge the audiences for once and break us free of these lame copy paste cliched weak movies coming out every week Leave RS alone, let him film the way he wants, let him have as much time as he wants to develop and submerge the audience into its story and let the characters swear fuck and bleed when needed

well, in the end its all about personal taste, likes and dislikes.. the Marvel superheros movies are very different category of course. I liked Iron man, Hulk, Hellboy, Thor ..or Ct America is funny, too..;) Invasion: Battle Los Angeles, starship troopers, battleship, skyline, (transformers, independence day to a certain extent) are all about massive military presence and heroisation as [i]a plot content[/i] and propaganda..weak character development. boring and unreflected stuff IMO..of course a certain military presence is in Aliens , star wars too, but..not to compare. a completely another cup of tea are intelligent and reflected plots like in 2001, Alien, Prometheus, District9, blade runner etc.. and of course nice B-movie-looking like Terminator1, M.A.R.K. 13 ..;)
