This is confusing... I thought the Press Event in Europe described the opening sequences of seeing an adult Shaw finding some of the cave art and then transitioning to the Prometheus on route with everyone in cryosleep. Then I saw threads saying that Patrick Wilson appears only for a short time (but important scenes?) and that they are all in flashback. Ugh... Does this mean we will see a lot of flashbacks with a "child" Shaw and daddy?.... Geez I hate flashbacks... just seems like a cheezy way to tell a movie story.

Typical forum trawlers - "your a bit late with that news" really? Sorry I don't spend my life on forums telling newbies how slow or behind they are - sorry guys all this bitching will end in forty odd days - and like everyone on this forum, I can't wait, mostly for the movie but party so that I dont have to get told that I have posted late news by guys that most probably weren't even around when Alien came out!! Cause if you were chances are you'd be a bit more forgiving regards repeated news as its likly to (and clearly does) happen all the time.

ITs seems material for an extended DVD version ...or will be essential for the plot and the narration ???

Maybe, the young Shaw is the daughter of Dr Elizabeth Shaw and Holloway.....

@Bazza I think the issue is at the front of minds as they only just got a search facility 'round here [a few days] and up until then it's been a living Hell of thread duplicates. It's not you. I did a search and found this topic raised at the start of the month. Take it easy on them - and yourself. Search is top right.

Not to diss the site or anything (the site rules!!!!!11 btw), but the search only seems to show thread titles that contain your keywords. So your mileage may vary.
