What's to be revived here?

Talking about revivals, we all believe that the good old feeling of the1979 movie will emerge once again victoriously and maybe be an even better one....
Anyhow, let me carry you back to the good old feeling, if you can put up with me for a few more lines...
Well for one, we show first the planet LV426. The entire landing procedure and the almost frozen and routine way the crew of Nostromo executed it, just emerged us into the coldness and blackness of space. After landing, the continuous blowing of the wind contrasted in our ears, with our Earthly wind blowing and the knowledge of us, being on an Alien planet...
Then we see the derelict...the whole scene out of a darkest fantasy....actually a horrific view..Past the spaceship, and then we meet the sj....you felt stunned...after leaving him...Dallas I believe turns the flashlight one last time on him...and then as the light was withdrawn I believed even for an instant that the sj was going to open his eyes.....wow...
Then the organics of the egg, the facehugger, wow..just wow......Now before the xeno, the fact that we never had a chance to find out more about the sj, was magnificent...it added up to the entire feeling of being in an alien environment. You just couldn't be allowed to solve the mysteries of LV426..it was beyond your comprehension.
And before you had the time to disengage your brain from this mystery then the life cycle of the xeno comes as the final shock...Mystery upon more mystery...A feeling of being incapable to comprehend upon a second even more powerful feeling of being incapable to comprehend again....Man what a blow...
Why is it doing this...how is it doing this?Is it intelligent? how much intelligent? Does it kill us? Does it collect us for some reason? What is the xeno trying to achieve after all? If it is an intelligent being, can't it be talked out to a peaceful resolution....how is it sensing us? How does it move?
We weren't even allowed by the direction, to perceive its shape or the natural weapons it is using...It was always one step ahead of us...like something devine..once we met it, we knew there was no way to fight it, no way to escape it...we just wished our paths wouldn't cross...
In this view, I believe that even Aliens and the rest of the films had bit of a negative effect on Alien of 1979. Even though no predators were there firing plasma shots against xenos, that feeling conveyed, that somehow Earthlings were taking some sort of revenge against xenos, just wasn't right...They looked more like bugs, a collective intelligence of the hive, a queen...I believe Aliens, was a film made under a subtle demand of alien fans to have some sort of revenge against the total incapability shown in the original...
But this is also what wasn't that right. Even though I love and admire the director, and I really thank him for offering us such a great movie, aliens appeared as hive creatures...no...not the case..A true xeno, would never attack in the open...it's a survivor...it adapts...kills effectively, moves unlike a human...has such a great instinct for killing, that would always be one step ahead of every man, marine or not. Would never attack in group...It would simply wait in the dark, just to attack lethally the very last and the most unexpected instant...and in a fully successful way....Like an instrument of doom.
That's my xeno. That's what made it so different.
I hold high hopes for Prometheus. I believe that Sir Ridley, will work wonders again. And he will expand the universe in a most unanticipated way...doing full justice to xenos...and reasoning their superiority as a species....We' ll see...
