i know many people who like comics more then movies/anime/shows. i like a bit of everything but i dont compare movies based on books i love though. i have my own vision and imagination while im reading and unless it was me making the movie no one can ever do EXACTLY what i pictured so i try to look at it as just "based on" the comic or movie. i dont think i could let anyone else make my own comics into a cartoon or movie without me constantly hovering over their shoulder... and i mean literally perched on their shoulder like a loud ass judgmental parrot ^_^

there are some sketches from blade runner floating around. if you showed them to me without prior knowledge i would have said they were Moebius. Yeah, I like his art more then his movies. Sad.

Honestly, I read a lot of weird ass scifi comics, he could have been a master at the craft. he's near moebius in a lot of respects. I love his line work. Like if you dig through them there is some amazing shit. I would have love to see a comic with him drawing and Jodorowsky writing. That would have been amazing.

He is quite famous for them. Hell, I think Ridley Scott honestly missed his true calling as a comic artist. [I really mean that, mostly because I am more of a comic fan then a movie guy and because I only really love 2 [hopefully 3] ridley scott movies].

yes it is. I just find the skull looks more facially like the Ridleygram version then the Giger dune version. I'm not stupid enough to say it is not based on gigers dune work, just the skull is way more ridley looking then giger.

To me what we have seen already Reeks to high hell of H R Giger !!! The tunnels the Mural the Big Giant head and even if he had nothing to do with creating the sets and I'm still not sure that's true at all, but if it is and it is in fact likely, it does not matter either IMO, because his [b]INFLUENCE[/b] is already all over this thing! And I think the best of what he did do... we haven't even seen yet.

Still amazing the amount Ridley is going back to the original Alien scripts with a lot of the imagery he is choosing. It is so odd seeing such '70's looking design in the 2000's. And so very refreshing.

Well that sort of proves there are definitely 3 humanoids in that hologram projection that was posted back in March ... they're in the hologram not in the room itself ... the featurette scene seems to confirm that ... so they're probably the other 3 SJ's that are not around anymore? ... hence why we see at least 1 who's actually alive? ... makes me wonder if its 3 blue guys or just a record of one blue guy doing many tasks with a crappy low res recording of it. i know i dont make high def recordings of my day to day tasks... is that now normal? crap, i knew i should have been taking high def recordings of my amazing day by day life. how DARE i fry bacon on my fancy shmacy gas stove without recording it in high def for space aliens. the earth is doomed now and its all my fault.
