Ok, little idea here. There's more than one David on the Prometheus but they aint activated yet ( Spares ), When Active-David finds the Goo and gets experimenty with it he tries it out on the others first and thats why you have a number of blue guys who all look the same, they are all Goo evolved Davids. The guys with Elephant like proboscis are the species which built the ships and all the cool tech but the Davids are, well, Davids who can now use it.

Glad you like the idea A-clad, sadly no one else did :(. Thought i was onto something there, seems reasonable to have more than one David and it would explain why they looks so alike. Plus it covers why there are apparently ok with David messing about with the holo console thing as he is like there big brother..... sort of. They could almost be body-guards. What if Vickers and Davids altercation on the Prometheus is because she knows there are more Davids and isnt happy he has been taking liberties with them.

I think i should have given myself a diff name than "thereyouarejonsey" maybe BadGrammarMorph would have been better.

Ha yeh, or "WeKnowNuffink"......... what about "IfItWasSoEasyToFigureItOutWhyBotherPayingMillionsToProduceTheBastardInTheFirstPlace" Moving on... I feel my idea has not had a suitable response, its a good one and i may go and have a cry now!

I hope to God that this isn't the case. Good theory, yes. But, would you really want it to be a reality for the movie? Hell no... Those are Space Jocks. They gotta be. We have to see them in the movie; and not in hologram form. Screw that!
