Could David create a space jockey?

So we see David 8 and Holloway sharing a drink at the pool table in one of the tv spots. David asks Holloway "what would you be prepared to do to get your answers" meaning the discoveries Holloway has made on earth, creation and perhaps who the jockeys are and what role they played in mankind, the whole shebang.Holloway answers "anything and everything". Now we don't know at what point this scene takes place, I'd hazard it's after landing and David's study of the dna type goo and perhaps the crew finding the jockey race all long dead with David basically daring Holloway into being transformed to fully understand mankinds creators. We then see David being enthralled by the substance in the jars and taking it back on board to study. "Big things come from small beginnings" he says with a drop on his finger. I'm guessing this is what is used on Holloway with Davids knowledge to transform him into a jockey.My thinking is the jockey race is long since dead but this goo holds the code of thier species or something. We know that other crew members are attacked by an already dangerous creature with some nasty transforming abilities (something developed by the jockeys and perhaps an aid to their downfall) and we see at least one of them going crazy in the hangar after infection but nothing of Holloway after the eye bug and approach to the ship shots. What's he transforming into? I'd say the blue guy and it's all thanks to David and his jockey technology studies. It obviously goes wrong with Holloway becoming evily corrupted, maybe he's angry at how ugly his and shaws baby turns out. And David realises this towards the end. Just throwing it out as he definitely becomes something different from those attacked by the cobra but we don't see anymore of him in the trailer after he approaches the ship.
