One thing that I would hate in this movie is if there is only one Jockey left or they are a dying ancient race it's done to DEATH! Anythoughts?

I agree. However, I do have one question? In the following Alien sequels why weren't other Space Jockeys ever discovered. I mean by Aliens and Alien 3, it seems that humans are venturing into the cosmos and becoming terraformers themselves. If the Space Jockey are planet engineers there numbers should be numerous. If Ridley Scott is going to incorporate some interesting aspects of "everything", he could incorporate some of the latest findings in science and a level of horror to it to explain this barrenness of life in the universe. For instance, the universe eventually dieing in heat death (the big rip). The Space Jockeys have advanced to the point that they have traveled to other universes, and have left some nasty surprises for the rest of us so that other civilizations don't go following them for competing resources. However, since other space jockeys haven't been found, it would be much easier to conclude that they're almost instinct.

I beleive the Space Jockey race are probably fine...it's the ones that went to the planet where the Prometheus went, now they had a real problem. You see them running their asses off in fear for their lives in the hologram. They are the Jockeys transformed into slaves for the Engineers, so to speak. They were turned into the pilots of ships extended from their bodies under the control of the Engineers...kamikaze warfare against some unknown enemies of the Engineers. Victims,,,just like the humans who visit the planet...except David...he survives.

Apparently you missed the still going around with David in it. Well a piece of David lol. I don't know how convinced I am that he makes it.

No, I didn't miss it, I just don't think it's David's head or spacesuit next to whatever or whoever that might be. It's just my theory, is all

That is quite ambitious. First they'd need to travel to other galaxies wouldn't you think? Movie-wise, they have only just eked out a tiny sliver of our Milky Way Galaxy which, BTW, is GIGANTINORMOUS...(so big that there is a star for every grain of sand sitting on Earth...and that's just one puny Galaxy...we're not even a spectacularly average sized one).

I'm going to post up my whole idea of this movie 2 days before it opens, I think, in Russia it was. If I'm right or close, I'll be jazzed. If I'm wrong, I wont be disappointed NO WAY..this film is going to ROCK no matter what it is.

@Forever War Well i guess they fixed this guy? Who knows.... Dont forget there could be two Andriods and two Davids, but i have a theory on that one, that i have hinted and put as Spoiler. I think i may be close but who knows. We dont know how many Engineers there are, they could be far and few between, others could be out there just many many light years beyond our reach. These could be the only ones, or just the local ones within a Sector of our Galaxy, because if there was more of them and close to Earth as within say upto double the distance of LV223 and they wanted us gone, then why would Earth be here in 2090 and what about after Prometheus if this movie is canon to Alien universe well between 2090 and 2380 Mankind makes no other contact with the Engineer/Space Jockeys. I would say that as far as this colony/outpost of Engineers indeed this movie has one last survivour who then himself dies.
