yes, the guardian just linked a spoiler $hitstorm to this site. I seriously have to use LMFAO because I don't know how else to show how I feel.

Weyland's mind uploaded to the David 8 model that was hidden on the ship. Now, this model climbs into the chair to take the ship.....I really think that it is another David model that climbs in that seat and we seeing getting covered in the jockey space suit....

Remember Scott did state there were two androids in the film. We can be lead to believe that Vickers is one but she is not. We know of the David 8 that is with the crew but the other we know not of...this could be the one that has Weyland's programming....to take the ship back to earth...when Shaw is trying to stop them.

Honestly, here is how I see it. Everyone who is on this forum should be prepared to see/hear some kind of spoiler. By the very nature of this panel it is bound to happen because we pick apart everything and post so many pictures, videos, links, and audio recordings. Morale of the story, If you do not want to see any possible spoilers you might want to avoid this forum. :P

I have been posting these articles for several moths now from The Guardian in case anyone remembers.

It kinda goes without saying that if you frequent this site one of two things will happen: 1) This site will have spoilt the movie for you 2) This site will have completely mislead you into thinking the movie has been spoilt, but what you will actually see is "something completely different" (-Monty Python) Knowing this (the above), however, you might actually transcend into an Uber-Fan being kind of a [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger's_cat]Shrodinger's Cat[/url] in a convoluted "thought experiment" in which the movie is BOTH what you expect AND no what you expect....or even deeper....spoilt AND not spoilt.

Too funny! A great example of how the "news" serves marketing. The Guardian breaks a potential spoiler sourced from this maas of wildly entertaining speculation we're all eagerly banging out. If true, the Guardian helps up the interest in the movie among Guardian readers, while deflecting blame for spoiling the movie for the Guardian's readers to us. If false, the Guardian helps up the interest in the movie among Guardian readers, while deflecting blame for false news to us.

So that WEBSITE link was supposed to point here? I realize we're not "the only show in town", but I find the color palette (and site organization) used here more pleasing to my eye. For all intents and purposes, there are enough "cross-members" between the sites that the sites basically contain the exact same info. There might be a 30 minute lag between one site getting "synced", but I haven't found a single case where one site was able to maintain an "exclusive" thought.

@abordoli The chap who registered the Prometheus-movie.com domain is a gentleman out of Kingston Ontario Canada named Chris Picard, of "PicardMedia". Check out the footer for this site for related sites, and a disclaimer around Fox copyright. The banner advertising on this site is minimal, and kind of borked. (if I was an advertiser, I'd be pretty upset that my banners were being truncated on their right margin). I believe that this excellent site is another arm of the viral media campaign.

@beyond..., Ummm...You do know that BugHunter("BH") is admin-owner of this site, right? When you sign-in, all the ads go away so I haven't really noticed any "borking" worthy of notifying him. THIS is an excellent site, but I am in doubt that it is an "arm of the viral media campaign" as you have stated. It is simply a "fan site" to discuss the movie Prometheus (and Alien, Aliens, etc.). We do, however, openly discuss the "viral media campaign"....does discussing make us an "arm" of it? I don't think so. I have checked out and registered at most of the sites in the footer of this site. [OPINION]My opinion (Note: THIS is MY opinion) is that THIS site is the best of all the sites in that it has better staff, a better layout, better aesthetics (easy on the eye, etc.) and above all, a better (more respected) community of members/contributors (there is language, flaming and outright disrespect that wouldn't last 5 minutes on this site). [/OPINION]

@abordoli I'm not in any way criticizing this site, the contributions/commitment of its staff, or its intent/purpose. I happen to enjoy all of the viral stuff around this movie, whether informal or official. My point on the advertising is that it is minimal (non-existent when signed in), and what exists has some layout issues. So if its intent is to offset costs of this site, I'd be surprised if it pays for the coffee. Perhaps the staff on this site are purely volunteer, and I'm out to lunch.

@beyond, You can always PM BugHunter. His name is at the top of the "Members" page and give him feedback in regards to the ad layout. I know he'd appreciate it. -A
