Does David Stay Good or Go Bad?

I don't think David does anything intentionally bad. He just helps get the answers that the crew (aka Holloway) is looking for. He will just do things that crew would not. My take on Vickers: Not sure if she is an android or not. But her agenda is to get to the planet and let Weyland (in stasis, not really dead) be woken to be there if "the Gods" are found. He orders Vickers to have the meeting with Shaw and Holloway about not going near the aliens if they find them. Weyland wants to be the first contact. That will be his legacy. He will have met the Gods.

Not going that deep.... Killing/Harming People and/or Setting events into play to do either = Evil

David and Vicker's motives have been bothering me since January. The same kind of questions remain and the suspects haven't changed either. Shaw and David have been in the star map room. Shaw is obviously not on the alien ship when it takes off. The Prometheus seems intent on taking the alien ship down kamakaze-style. Vickers is the only one seen entering a lifeboat. The alien ship crashes with Shaw and Vickers running for their life. So what happens to David? Was he killed before the alien ship took off? Was he stranded on another part of the planet a fair distance from Shaw? Was he on the alien ship as it took off? Or did he escape on the second human ship? Personally, I like to think of him as a good guy who tried to take down the flying horseshoe because it's still the best explanation (in my mind) of where that secondary fire came from in the middle of the ship. Unless we have both human ships crashing into it, of course...

Seems to be the natural progression path for David as mentioned, but...can an android really be 'Bad'? Looking at the David8 Virus vid, he stated he could do what people would find unethical or questionable. . . so it seems he will have some programming hard wired into him from some shady 'Company' directive. He's gonna end up being a bastard, perhaps against his will. . . or without him being fully aware even.

In the end it's not going to be Good or Bad, it's going to be Ugly.

My view is.... There are Two Davids a Good One and a Nasty One that is Weyland..... i think Weyland is trying to use the body of another Andriod with his Synapse Device and then using the Engineers fire to turn a David 8 into a replicant with Weylands thoughts and memories thus making Weyland live much longer in his quest for eternal life.... only it backfires.
