I think the Engineers will be malevolent meaning that once they've been awakened by the Prometheus crew, they will begin to unleash stuff upon them, like the cobra and who knows what else. I also think this will be the time some of the cew will be abducted, i.e., Shaw, and experiments will begin. Remember Ridley Scott said there will be something REALLY EVIL and worse than Xenos. If I were a brilliant filmmaker, I wouldn't even HINT let alone SHOW the creepiest parts of the movie......

i think that they are extinct, and left holgrams as to what happened to them, i.e. one of their experiments went amok and killed them and weyland or holloway or somebody gets mutated into an engineer, complete with the knowledge of their past--almost like an engineer being resurrected by way of mutation. - far fetched, but possible i suppose.

TKfanboy421 WHAAAAA? NO! If that's the case, i'll be disappointed. The main focus of the movie is them, after all. I think that would be a bit typical/unoriginal.
