MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 6:17 AMI Hope R. Scott really exposes the modern day "Alien" phenomenon in his movie "Prometheus". Judging from the Trailers, he does show them as Malicious. You wouldn't want to meet an "Alien" in real life;
I have done a LOT of research on Ufology and "aliens".
Ever wondered why Real Life Alien Abductees come back damaged, traumatized, literally scarred, at times sexually molested, many receive bruises, claw marks, multiple punctures, female abductees often suffer gynological problems, including cysts, tumors, uterine and breast cancers. Abductees can suffer with debilitating illnesses after the encounter, at times leading to deaths that leave doctors puzzled.
Abductees report being jeered at, threatened and scoffed at by their captors. They report being taken to underground facilities where they see grotesque hybrid creatures and vats full of a coloured liquid with human parts. These are just the tip of the iceberg, there are countless more reports equally or even more disturbing, Alien encounters Always leave peoples' lives in tatters.
There are interesting books on these topics; "Alien Intrusion" by G, Bates.
"Messangers of Deception" by J. Velles
See the following interesting resource; http://www.alienresistance.org/ce4.htm
Ever wondered why devout Christians are NEVER abducted?
Ever wonder why the above resources Prove that if Abductees call on the name of Jesus during an abduction, it stops? (This is actually the ONLY way known to man to stop terrifying "Alien" abductions)
We are dealing with interdimensional beings here folks, Demonology to be exact, they are Messengers of Deception who tell us they are from other planets.
See the above resources and their many links for further proof. Lets hope R. Scott helps to expose the Real Truth about SO CALLED "Aliens".
I understand many in the UFO community are aware of the above facts, but are scarred to expose them because these facts seem so..... "Religious".

I find your post interesting and informative. Though I disagree with your conclusion, (that invoking the name of Jesus stops abduction, and therefore abduction is being orchestrated by extra-dimensional demons) I do think that it sheds some light as to the psychological disposition of so-called abductees. What you describe reminds me of hypnosis, using a word to snap people back to reality, or in some cases using a word to drop them into the hypnotic state.

what is spiritwalker farm? An Alien Abductee cult?
Ha ok, I see the edit. I was thinking you might be referring to Skywalker Ranch...also a cult in its own right.

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 11:44 AMI love the way religious nuts ignore aircraft, the heart transplant, all the diseases that have been cured, the electric light, space travel, the internal combustion engine and all the myriad amazing things that are a direct result of studying the laws of the universe via science and focus on things like exorcisms and demons as proof that religion is the "truth."
Really, what's more of a miracle, turning water into wine, assuming for a second that actually happened, or the heart transplant?

In the esoteric view, all science, all knowledge, all of everything comes from God. So yes science is a miracle but no more than water to wine.

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 4:19 PMAs Kane77 demonstrated, there are many scientifically inexplicable paranormal phenomena out there, documented and investigated fully by the authorities, and no, the anomalous data will not go away, because so many people CHOOSE not to look at it, and mock it from the start, that is not true science.

Actually, I would most likely consider the heart transplant or space travel to be a smidgeon more of a miracle than turning water into wine.

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 4:45 PM@frantz.....I moved it to the community forum as you suggested......
but this...."keep religion out of the forum .. this thread have nothing to do with a Prometheus forum."....is NONSENSE.....
First off, Thank You Windood for making my point for me, "You can't keep religion out of this forum as it's one of the main driving forces behind some characters objectives."
Second...this forum is meant to be a place of free, civil and welcoming discourse.....If X3 wants to talk religion, be it Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Taoism, Animism, etc.....HE HAS EVERY BLOODY WELL RIGHT TO DO SO without having to be raked over the coals for it........
Windood is entirely correct...the fact that Shaw's personal faith appears to be of paramount importance to the plot, makes religion and faith relevant topics.....the fact that 'Prometheus' concerns extraterrestrial life, makes his idea concerning alien abduction relevant; regardless of whether any of us likes it or not.....the fact that this film concerns the idea of alien astronauts, alien contact with human beings in our past, makes his topic relevant.......
Now I will say this again in a general statement to all.........if you don't like an idea, engage the poster and attack the IDEA, not the member posting....insinuations about religous nuts, whether they are directed at him personally or generally are NOT acceptable......just as I would NOT tolerate a religous person on this forum assaulting an atheist and calling them names or a nut either.......attack the IDEA, not the person....nothing shows how small a person you really are faster than a willingness to be personal about things...if you can't honestly and fairly engage in a discussion about an idea, then you shouldn't be posting here at all...cool it everyone......

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 5:18 PMI actually think Hawking is wrong and that we don't need to worry about malevolently hostile ETs, for the simple reason that I think practically useful interstellar "conveyance" is a very, very tough nut to crack. I just don't see any intelligent species which fails to move beyond its' predatory nature, surviving long enough to become a meaningful threat. "Humanity" certainly seems to support this hypothesis, and the universe is clearly a dangerous place, sooo...... makes sense to me, but I could also obviously be completely wrong.
Still, it wouldn't surprise me all that much, to learn that we've been visited and observed.....repeatedly. There are a few cases which should give anyone at least a moment's pause. Multiple military personnel directly charged with the care and feeding of nuclear weapons, have simultaneously, either hallucinated, gone temporarily crackers, or witnessed something truly profound and extraordinary. Do any of those alternatives make you feel sanguine?

MemberDeaconMay-10-2012 4:56 PMEvery Body has a right to their own oppinions and i have nothing against religon, i find a lot of it very interesting but i see holes.... same with Evolution.
Thats why i say every single aspect about where to we come from is a question of Faith....
No Scientist was around during the Big Bang, there is no real proof that it happened and you cant prove that it never did either.
Proof in the puding is in the eating so to speak, it was beleaved that you could not travel over the world as its flat and that you cant get into Space as thats Heaven unless you die. These do not prove that God is not real but you cant really prove he is real either.

BigDave
MemberDeaconMay-10-2012 5:02 PMIndeed and thats the point i was trying to make..
Not many thought Man would fly or walk on the moon or be able to sail to the Americas without falling off the Earth.
All was proven to be possible, but with somethings you cant 100% Prove them or Prove them wrong.
We have to maybe wait untill we die to see what some Religious people beleave.
Thankfully we dont have to wait that long to find out what happens in this movie and roll on 31st May ;)

I think you are confusing things. Having data that cannot be explained by the current paradigm does not make the theory that you believe true. The question is which theory does a better job of explaining all of the evidence that was collected in a scientific way.
In the case of the subject you are discussing, a lot of scientist would argue that the scientific method was not properly employed in collecting the data. Even in the cases in which it was employed properly and in which the current paradigm cannot explain the evidence, there is so much other evidence that contradicts the theory for reasons unrelated to the specific cases you are discussing, the theories are not highly regarded.
For example, why couldn't the abductions be done by the government? It is far more likely that the government has hover and fly technology, mind altering drugs, and a total disregard for the individuals they are abducting than than lifeforms from light years away traveling to our planet and abducting people. Whether you think that's true or not, it is much more likely and explains the evidence just as well.
Scientifically, that's a better theory. I think the demon/God explanation just reinforces your belief system and you believe it for that reason, but you put a scientific stamp on it. I can understand that desire, but it doesn't make it science.

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 5:11 PMwhiskuz....I think Big Dave is getting at the fact that the theory of evolution still lacks an excepted unified theory concerning the origin of the first living cells...Science still has major problems theorizing a logical explanation for how even the simplest cells known to man could have formed naturally.....
There's also major gaps in the fossil record......That doesn't remove evolution's viability as an explanation and it also doesn't mean a God couldn't have designed evolutionary process...no was there to know and we still don't have definitve scientific evidence in any case....

MemberTrilobiteMay-10-2012 5:13 PMDemons abduct people, not aliens?
Why? Aliens abducting people makes more sense than demons?
Fact's...
1. Most reported abductions are cries for attention - A being highly advanced beyond our means would not be interested in the contents of billy-bobs rectum.
2. Most reported UFO sightings are hoaxes - and they have increased since the advent of digital manipulation.
3. Most, if not all, crop circles can easily be created using a bit of planning, a post, a plank of wood and some string.
4. Most reported demonic possessions are either hoaxes or mis-diagnosis of mental or psychological conditions.
5. the Fourth Kind is CRAP, one of the worst films I have ever seen, and fake - a little research found the claims in the film to be false. Remember that many films claim to be "Based on True Events", a claim which is usually a stretch at best. Take Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which is allegedly based on true events - the murders committed by Ed Gein, who murdered alone, didn't use a chainsaw and his murders bare no similarities to those depicted in TCM, the only link is cannabilism.
