LV-233?

I think the Space Jockeys have no home planet, and if you have this very far away. After seeing the Star Map in the trailers you can see that they walk almost all the space in their work of Gods / Destroyers. And who knows, maybe you never know for sure where they come really ... LV-233 must be one of the millions of laboratories and military bases of this ancient civilization...

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere but I was just reading the Alien novel and notice that Lambert says "We're just short of Zeta II Reticuli" which I'm sure most have heard Scott say is a real planet or moon or whatever and that's where they land in the film. So Z2R is another name for LV-233. So, if the Nostromo landed on LV-246 when they're just short of LV-233 then the Prometheus is close to LV-246 in this film. So maybe the shots of the Jug crash landing are on LV-246. We know Vickers ejects herself from the Prometheus for some reason. Maybe one ship is chasing the other or something and they end up on LV-246. But then the scene of Shaw running from the Jug when it's crashing wouldn't make sense. Shit, I don't know. I doubt it will end up on 246 and we'll see whatever bust out of the SJ. I guess I can hope though.

I was the one who first started doing it here and the reason was to make a point. The Point is there is this unspoken internet rule that typing in caps means you swearing and is harder to read which to me is the [b]DUMBEST THING I EVER READ ANYWHERE IN MY LIFE[/b]. in my opinion Mr.Spartacus we´ve to see the movie that´s the primordial thing to do but i´ve read around other posts saying that the engineer in this movie it´s the last of it´s kind so if this planet it´s not their homeworld thay assumption is wrong and opens a nice debate waiting for the actual movie... and we can dream of a future sequel ... my regards to you

I can't remember which featurette, but in one of them, I believe Ridley or one of the actors refers to it as an outpost.....
