David's decapitated Head...Where?

Shame on you Shane...lol...i dunno after seeing the trailers David seems like a big queen android...have u seen his little pose during the briefing scene...sitting all straight up ....so effeminate...;)....i could either love or hate him....( and this is coming from a gay man!) I have huge respect for Fassbender as an actor .... (especially after accidentally finding nude pics from 'Shame" on google images...i swear i just stumbled upon them by accident..he he he) ....it might just be the script and the little we have seen from the trailers?...plus an android...especially an earlier version might be programmed to act a certain way....androgynous and different....remember ash was a complete psycho and he was a much later version....30 years later....we did not even have cell phones 30 years ago...so what is to be expected?

i seen this thread....but i have not seen any head! (i'm a poet!)....and who's to say that is David?

I haven't even seen a head to be honest........ And I've seen just about everything out on this already, at least 3 times each -_- I also just blew that image up, and it doesn't look like a head but rather a helmet............. I could be wrong though.

Semantics, my friend lol! Just a friendly warning/advise. I tend to think that the events portrayed in that scene are not what they seem to be in that particular still. Wild speculation, I agree.

@Cypher...me neither. it looks way to much like a "is it a UFO" or "Bigfoot?" photo. i dont doubt that there's something there, but i dont see a decapitated body. if anything, i see what looks like a suit (though i've seen a few suits lying around the ground, burning or steaming and what not), and maybe some red around it. and if its bleeding red, it aint David.

@juxtapose Here's hoping that it's a helmet, or a bit of indirection that will disappear in the movie - In today's discussion re. the mutating Fifield, and the various shots of him throwing crew around in the vehicle bay, I see a lot of room for RS to mask the key plot points from all of us... while we all breathlessly discuss our discoveries..

cool Syphonox....yeah.... i know i was just trying to separate fact from fiction...what we have actually seen and what we have no real account for...the rolling head of David the android...i half suspected it was based on a blob of pixels someone thought resembled the of head David.... like they could actually make out the features.....let alone weather the body in the stills actually had a head or not? I cannot be too harsh on my fellow fans....speculation is fun....was just hoping that perhaps their was a proper image out their that might validate this assumption....something i might have missed....?

Yes, that picture isn't of the quality desired for a definitive answer. The speculation is fun! For me it's a fine line though, because I still want to be surprised by the movie. I know what I'm risking by coming on here, and if I stumble upon something...it's my own fault. I, myself, just try to stay away from the threads that are clearly spoilers...anyway ti will be interesting to see how this scene plays out on screen and what we learn!

@ beyondtherbloodplain that was an interesting thread about the mutating Fifield! Even more interesting and controversial was the supposed leaked plot about someone whom is claiming to have seen the actual movie....don't wanne go their to much...but a lot of people used the decapitation of david as reason to discredit that plot.....fake or not....i don't believe it to be true...but at the same time it might be....it's almost like i am looking for reasons to discredit it....but no luck so far....the irony is that i kinda like the plot...if executed well it might really be an awesome story.......but enough about that....besides i am not giving away spoilers on what i read their!

The decapitated head is not only the head. Is the head + the neck. Is below the body of David, near the Jockey's sarcofagus. David probably wakes the SJ up and the first thing the Jockey does is rip his head off. Then the monster proceeds to kill Ford and the merc, whose weapon malfunctions or gets out of ammo. Maybe the SJ kills them because he thinks they are infected like Fifield and the only way to stop infected cobralien mutants is to separate the head from the body.

I zoomed into the image of the 'Guy In A Blue Suit' standing/heading towards the 'Chair' and on the left just behind where the 'back' of the 'Chair' would be on the floor is what looks like a white, decapitated-looking 'head' facing towards the viewer rather like Ash was. Upon clloser inspection whilst zooming-in it does resemble two eye sockest facial features like that of a 'Human' - artificial or otherwise - and it does look as though it has blonde hair. So that thought process got me into thinking that this is either David or Vickers lying there in their decapitated position. It's possible as a plot twist more than anything else.

...could anyone maybe post a image of a close up decapitated head for my viewing pleasure?

Here is what i think happened... David sets off the Controll Panel, he then sees the Hologram Engineers and maybe the Ghost Engineer scene, he then throws up the Star Map and then finds out they was heading to Earth..... After this we see one Engineer sneak up on David and kill him, this Engineer then walks over to near the controll chair and activates the Pilot Chair to rise up. So the body was there before the Chair rises but not before the Hologram/Star Map... Here look at this gif and find me the body/head.... the only person we see is David. @BigDave...i think these are actually two different points in the movie. im thinking David discovers the holograms in the map room early in the discovery phase of the ship/temple, and the SJ raising the chair is probably a climatic, end of movie scene. the SJ we saw who seemed to be sneaking up on David was determined to be a hologram, i thought. i'd like to see a fight between David and the SJ. i've long assumed the androids could get badass if they got the opportunity, but they never really did. i think they could make a fight scene without making it corny.

....k...no rolling heads then....it's funny how speculation becomes belief....tho thanks for posting everyone....i don't mind the idea of David getting decapitated....he'll be sure to show up in sequels if their really gonna be any ( him being a robot and all and having millions of replicates)....but we clearly don't know what happens yet.....all just fun speculation!
