it's a proto Xeno !!! No doubt it what so ever and IMO the exact same organism in different forms behind each crew attack we have seen so far!

As much as I like your theory Sparky I don't see it happening, I've said it many times and the more the footage we see the more my opinion is confirmed - this is a film about the Space jockey's and does NOT feature the Alien/Xenomorph.

all you have to do is look, it's already happening, the thing that comes out of shaw had to have started off as the "wiggly wiggly" in his eye... for starters, come on, it's not a Theory, it's been happening right in front of our faces!!! wow..now some points get clearer now. the SJ ( Halloway transformed?) is just above one head taller than a normal human. Fifield getting flamed looks like the elephant man..

The engineer's height is looking pretty good. I found this picture online: This is Ian Whyte 7'1" (who plays the engineer) standing next to two people who are both 5'8". With a quick Google search I found out that Noomi Rapace is 5'4", so she'll be even smaller next to him. I think they might have got the scale of the engineer pretty spot on. Proto Xeno = Early version of the Xenomorph. Alien... Egg - Facehugger - Attach to host - Lay embryo - Embryo grows - Chestburster - Growth - Adult Alien/Xenomorph Prometheus... 1. Black liquid - Loooonnnngggg snake - Enter host - Unknown??? 2. Unknown - worm in eye - Unknown??? 3. Unknown - Inflating stomach - Unknown??? 4. Unknown - Mutation - Unknown??? As you can see, there is no relation between the two.

I have no prob with no Xeno in Prometheus..the SJ looks badass.. the snakealien is quite aweful..a big schlong for sure..;) why just has David to touch anything..;)

Hey guys, remember that mural? Well look at the 4 eyed head of that burning creature and compare it to the creature beside the engineer on that mural we saw earlier. Exactly the same head!

Well they better have a twist like Holloway or Weyland changing into teh Engineer..... or else Ridley has made a colossal F Up in terms of Scale.... The Engineer in the Chair scenes compared to the set looks 9ft, in the chair compared the Alien Chair is again about 9ft. The Dead Space Jockey with no head looks huge, the Space Jockey Suits hanging up look 10ft. But the thing attacking Shaw is only about 7.5 to 8ft tall tops.... I mean come on, if movies like LOR can do scales well, then its disapointing that Ridley cant... Also these new images do sugest maybe that screening and landorfs comments hold some weight.... We wont see no Xeno, we wont see no Eggs, we wont see no Derelict on LV 426 or explanation.... maybe only connection with Alien is a Derelict Ship and Space Jockey who apears to change size from near 8 foot to near 10ft. I think this would be a disapointing movie and i hope Ridley does suprise us and its nothing like that screening and latest comments.....

The trailer is a bit disappointing in some ways. The twitter girl who attended the screening said the guy bit the creature and then it sprayed acid. So after seeing this trailer, I suspect she may have actually seen the movie. The first alien is basically just a snake that goes into peoples mouths. This is hardly a novel concept. The other creature that is attacking the person looks like it could be a generic character from just about any video game. Fifield is a mutant. Again this has been seen in countless other movies or video games. Hopefully the movie is more than the sum of its parts.

Finally we see the "engineers" being "scary" .... any hypothesis on them being "benevolent" is over .

Wish we could see the vid. It's been on TV so don't know why it's apparently been blocked on YouTube!

I agree Dutch ... But is IT a trailer really? ... if it is why are they banning from being posted on YouTube? ... looks too clean for a trailer ... has anyone actually seen THIS trailer with these images in it? ...

That GIF with the...whatever the F**K that is!...in the helmet - proper disturbed by that image (one of those things that creeps me out anyway!) - truly excited for this film as each day passes - looks to be the dark sci-fi I was hoping for!!! CANNOT WAIT!

Wow. A whole lot of non-events here. The snake thingy gets inside you in a creepy way, but not a scary as the original facehugger. And either the pictures depict two different cobra attacks, or the snake is a bit like the Engineers, and able to grow/ change size rapidly. Hopefully, it's two different attacks. Such a rapid change in size sure poops on the realistic IMHO. An hour or two? Sure, but mere seconds? Just plain stupid. We already knew Shaw fights an engineer, which may be a mutated Holloway. Nothing new there.

The money-shot scene with the snake should not be revealed on TV. It would look great in split second portion of a trailer playing in cinemaplex where people could not TiVo the damn thing. Damn! That would look shocking on IMAX, lol! There will be a lot of screaming, eeww, Holy Sh*t, heard during this scene. Fox SHOULD NOT include this clip at all, at least not on international channels. I hope Ridley has something more up his sleeves.

Frantz, i honestly don't think its him looks to much like the Engineer/Space Jockey or whatever you wanna call it. He changes into something but its not that thing.

There is so OBVIOUSLY another kick-ass creature in this film. Tear up Necromicon IV - Giger has made a new alien that they hope will be as effective in this film as the original Alien was for that film. Who knows if it will be iconic (that's hard to predict) but they'll have a good shot at it. I cannae wait!

Rest assured, these are not all the creatures, mutations, etc. in this movie. There will be more. Besides, what these creatures, mutations, etc. do exactly and why and how is what will be most disturbing to the audience.

WOW!!! These screen shots are awesome....i know many of us dont want to much info or images release but we must understand its a two hour film....what has been given to us is hardly the entire story or the body of the plot. Its only things to create interest, esp from what forums such as this one have been discussing. I am confident there will be enough story arcs and plots to keep us into it. Obviously the trailers are misleading (thats my favorite pharse) There had been so much speculation about the snake organism and what it did to milburn and how it did this and we still dont know...lol. It enters his suit from the hand crawls through gets to the head and enters his mouth. we dont know what shots out of his mouth yet or if that substance or whatever enters or attempts to enter someone else. We dont know why it enters his mouth....etc and that is just one scene and maybe not even a related organism to the engineer of xeno....excited!!!1
