I don't think the man is the Engineer(SJ). Compared to Shaw, the Engineer is normal human high. I guess the man is kinda infected and mutated(or transforemd) one of crew members. Maybe Shaw's lover whose eye the small parasite thing penetrated to.

.@ Gang Ho ..thats the blue gray guy we see near the chair in the trailers....weather it's an engineer or mutated crew member....that no one can say for sure....but it's definitely the blue guy whom many has speculated as being the engineer...

@Gang Ho: It can't be a crew member since none of them would fit in the SJ suit. You can clearly see that he is bigger than Shaw.

It's not a crew member, look at the pattern on the suit; same as the tall guy near the sj chair (I.e space jockey)

Well there is a inconsistantcy.... The Suits on the Wall look to be about 10ft The Blue Guy compared to the Chair and the spots we see where David was sitting and other things to scale in the Orrey Room looks about 9ft The one who attackes shaw looks 8ft in high heels.... thats the problem when you use a 7ft1 Actor and have him attack a 5ft Actress it may seem like his big but they could have done special effects to make him look bigger. I also compared him to the doors on Prometheus to the other crew who go near them i.e Vickers and this Engineer is 8ft Tops..... When you look at the Space Jockey suits compared to the Arch way in the Derelict scenes compared to David they look about 10ft. I hope Ridleys got a explanation and only someone changing into a Engineer would solve that one...

I have seen some NICE high quality spoilers on the net today ... there's obviously a lot of new pics out that could spoil the effect if you're not careful ;) ... especially poor old Millburn :/ ... They must be from either a digital source or something because they look that good ...

There are plenty of suits kept in the cave. One in the chair is unique and holds the alien in place of the seat. So don't mistake that suit with walking suit because the beacon suit is definitely something that was made for the alien with elphant face. As for the suit for the blue guy, that suit looks like from the one placed in the cave.

@suit It may be infected and transforming Halloway..my take is that his original space suit is morphed into him..thus new looking suit.

I don't think that is the same one from the pic where she is down on the ground and we see a partial SJ. The other dude have a tight suit and the hands have gloves or whatnot.... Could be Halloway... Funny thing, notice on is backs that he has the same "tube-like" thingys as the Xeno does, only shorter.

Think it's the big guy, not a mutated human...he could just be lifting her up as he pushes her against the wall. Seems he is larger to me, just the angle of the shot and you don't see the bottom of the shot that perhaps Shaw's feet are off the ground...

i really don't understand why people are getting so hung up on the size of the engineer.....so what if his smaller?.....just forget about Alien and enjoy Prometheus for what it is.....besides perhaps the suit is bigger than the engineer....do we even know for certain if the engineer gets inside the suit.....duh!

Is that a crystal beaded curtain in this scene? If so, it must be space jockey decorum because those things went out-of-style on earth in like 1975.

I think we have to take into consideration that just as there are 5 ft people and 7 ft people there can be 9 ft engineers and 12 ft engineers....right. Does the entire race have to be identical in height???

My gripe is not the difference in size from Alien to the Pilot Chair shot in Prometheus... Its that for some reason the Engineers we see in the Hologram room and running past David, look about the same size as the Blue Guy who activates the Pilot Chair and walks over to it and the scene where we see some body on the floor near the back of the chair.... they all seem to apear like 9ft But the one that chases Shaw through the ship looks only about 7.5ft Tops... i already made a comparison with a leaked shot from TV spot of him running towards the same door that Vickers ran to in a early shot. @Juxtapose Yes i guess we have to accept that the tall suits that apear to be 10ft tall are what a smaller being could get into.... that would explain it..... However the Chair Scene there is a Helmet on the Chair and the Chair seems to add parts of the suit to the Jockey who sits into it..

@fanboy79 Yea you're correct i think, come on the thing is obviously a space jockey, just cause one of the crew members goes crazy doesn't mean he transforms into this thing, there's probably multiple one and they can be different sizes.

Oh and it looks like Shaw was carrying that axe as seen in one of the trailers. I thought Shaw would've been smarter than to use an axe on a giant alien. Anyway, nice pic.
